The N55 has more of a "growl" that's deep in its pops and burbles. Due to that it mostly needs to be catless in order for it to bypass the lower pitch sound. Including no resonators could help too.
I have the Valvetronic exhaust and it's graet but brandon is correct, need to go catless and res delete for best sound, which I've done haha

I suggest you buy all Mann filters from Rockauto, use the appropriate Liquimoly oils

Nour , for filming startups of exhaust you can press start button without foot on brake so you turn on ignition only, then switch modes and start.

Man, I was so looking forward to getting that Vrsf catted DP for my E90 N55 until I saw the CEL. Living in Illinois I have to have an emission test every year and just don’t want to do deal with swapping it out.
Definitely still getting that Diverter Valve though.

Just installed the BMW power kit in my 435. It definitely pops more. I posted a video of it.
I used the K&N filter on my N20 and it came out twisted for some reason. Best to stick with mann filter

so on the scale of 1-10 how difficult was installing the catted dp? my shop quoted $250 and i’ve installed a charge pipe on my own so should i do it myself?
this is a level 2/10 job. 10 being removing the motor. Charge-pipe being level 1
