TITANIUM Components for planetary BMX hubs are now available and they are AWESOME!!!

Thanks Brant once again! You did a great job explaining how it all goes together. A great tool we use at the shop to pull and press in driver bearings is a hand press for skateboard wheel bearings.

Please please use a socket on the outside of the bearing as a drift too put bearings in. Never hit the inside

It does actually make a pretty good difference. I swapped all the hardware on my trail bike to titanium all the way down to the brake lever bolt. only Cromo hardware remaining is the female axles, cassette driver, and pedal spindles. Spokes/nipples are still regular as well.. That alone saved a half pound.

You can even do some bolts nylon or alloy and save more weight like on the stem cap. Wheel weight makes huge difference as far as accelerating and also makes your suspension more responsive with some tuning. Helps with grip, too. It's finding that balance

Rotational weight is amplified the faster you ride so even tiny amounts can turn into massive differences at speed.

For ti drivers always use the beat grease and ti specific grease. Besrings can cold weld to the ti driver.-. Biggest pain in the rear.

This is so glorious.
Also alloy axle nuts are fine for not running pegs if 7075 or if you replace em often with peg use. But the 7075 washers weigh less then steel and pose no real down sides. Or run without washers.
