My dad had one of these in a lighter colour but the section with the radio and controls was empty and was made for record storage. You could stack 4 or 5 records on an arm and they’d play (on the side facing upwards) one after another. I remember playing records on it as a kid. What a beautiful piece you have there.👌
What a great album to test it with. I used to use the same ELO Album to test other people's set-ups for them because I was so familiar with the intricacies and details of the sounds. The other album I used was ELO - Time
Too bad a House is a luxery today. Is that the original tone arm? I'm into micro sound but still dig the smell of acoustic woofers and tweeters plus mid-range and the vent to let the excess sound out. PS My go to audio test record is CHIM CHIM CHEREE.

Awesome console, and now I have to pull out that album and give it a spin, lol.
Something like that was in the living room of the house I grew up in. I have fond memories of it.

This is the console I need own again. Kills me I can't find one.
How much?
You can get one from Mid-Century Sound for $2999 with free shipping. TH-cam won't let me post the link. It's in the Store section under New Arrivals.
👍👍👍
She's a beauty alright.
Maybe not ? But it looks very similar to the one in the "Yesterday" sequence of the Maysles' film "Salesman" where the guy is so proud of his Hi-Fi.

And why that record?
