That was a good vid. A lot of sailing, not too much motoring and a mercy dash too. You'd think a boat would stand out like a pea on a drum, pleased it all ended well.
Hope you managed to get some sleep at the anchorage! That was an interesting and eventful leg for you and the drone shots around Beachy Head were brave!
Nice. The drone shots were very cool - glad you didn't lose it. Must be tricky getting to sleep in a strange anchorage with 20 knot winds. I doubt I'd sleep at all!
Once you are tired enough, cat napping with an egg timer becomes easy. In fact, the challenge can become being so tired that you wake through the alarm.
Was that the 3 or 4th June when you anchored west of Newhaven. I left Dover on the 4th at 0430hrs. Made it to Poole by 0700 next day. Single handed I was knackered 😢
Nice to see Katrina and the Waves making an appearance 5:05
Brilliant video 👍👍
Thanks 👍

I probably had about 6 hours, i wasn't concerned about dragging, the holding ground was good
Funnily enough just walked along 100miles looking at this coast on the south downs way. The seven sisters with beachy head look better from the sea.

I'm currently anchored off Mevaggisy, where are you?
Hi Sam, I have just discovered your channel and am loving it so far, What battery bank do you have onboard?
Hi, I only had a single 12 Volt battery for this trip, I would recommend doubling up if possible.
