Like you said “for you” cause most people would disagree with this take…there’s essential character development in season 1 just cause its slower & not a nonstop ride with twists left & right at every turn like the rest of the show is doesn’t make it so obsolete that it can be labeled a prologue
I had a retired cop who lived next door and he had LOUD phone conversations every night but one that stuck out to me was how he was telling someone that seeing a therapist as a cop made you immediately unqualified for any of the big promotions. if the brass thinks you're mentally unfit you'll never make swat, bomb squad, lieutenant etc. crazy that taking care of your mental is seen as a bad thing. This was 3 years ago too so I doubt its changed
I like that you acknowledged that Hank's training kicked in and he probably saved the agents life by tying off his leg. It is an often overlooked aspect of his character. The same thing happened when Tuco was shooting at him. He steadied himself and took the shot.
That episode of better call saul SUCKS compared to this and the cast is fat and old and one of the characters from BB is not even the same person in better call Saul 💀
@@Justinhomii I was trying to stay away from spoilers, but I'm just saying that the entire series of BCS gives you tons of context around this scene that we didn't get when we first saw this episode in breaking bad. For example, knowing the people whose names he drops and his relationship with them
The wallpaper is the US Constitution which has been changed via amendments 27 times. The "bill of rights" is comprised of the first 10 amendments. It was originally ratified in 1788. The "Declaration of independence" is the founding document of the United States. It was adopted on July 4, 1776. It was the document by which the original US colonies declared themselves free from foreign rule, sparking the US revolutionary war.
yeah, Aussies don't understand because we live in a free society where Americans aren't threatened with guns by the police and locked up for being out after lockdown during quarantine
Amazing episode i agree with you. And there is many more to come, especially last two-three episodes of this season, and then absolute masterpiece of season 3-4-5...u guys gonna love it...looking forward to it
Well, you know what's funny? After seeing this episode everyone is like "now we know why this guy got his show" Let me tell you, without spoiling stuff, Better Call Saul is not what you think it is. Saul to see here and you'll see throughout the rest of BrBa....Better call Saul, the show, is something else. Can't say more. And that's the beauty and awesomeness of BCS. You'll see once you finish BrBa and start BCS That being said, come oooon guys, Breaking bad deserves more frequent uploads!!! 🤪

You don't want a criminal lawyer, you want a 𝙘𝒓𝙞𝒎𝙞𝒏𝙖𝒍 lawyer
one of the best lines in the show
For me this is where the show starts. Honestly everything before this point was a prologue. We in for it now!

I love editing not gonna lie. Also introduction to another amazing character Saul.
We see Saul's commercial playing on Jesse's TV...and the lawn chairs he and Jane were sitting in...Jane's chair has been knocked over.

The last time the constitution was changed was 1997.
