I was raised on a farm; John Deere was all we had. We did have one IH tractor, but it was in the shop all the time, so we sold it. Thanks for the videos, love watching.
If you scroll back on the community tab on the channel, there's a picture of my little Massey. I only have a 1.8 acre homestead, so no real farming. But my property is completely surrounded by farm fields. Lots of equipment moving around.
Course play was a game changer for me in fs17. It was definitely cheesin it how I used it but there was a mod map on fs17 where there were only 3 fields but even with the largest combine the smallest field would take like an hour and a half to harvest. I basically used it as a 'custom cutting crew' when I had the money to justify it. Seeing 4 or 5 combines and their graincarts working a massive field was awesome.
Yes, I haven't used it as much in FS22, but in FS19 I would orchestrate harvesting, combine unloading, field to silo, silo to sell point deliveries, all going at the same time. It was a whole new way to play the game.
@krustoo on that map the largest field still took like 3 hours with 5 of the largest combines. I'm originally from western Kansas where there is nothing but open space so it reminded me of home. When I finally get my rig up and running again fs 22 may be one of my first purchases. Loving the series so far. Just found your channel and was an immediate subscriber. Just started one of your other playthroughs just to keep me going while I wait for new episodes of this one.
Thanks! I only started at FS19, but I did go back afterwards and try FS17. Frankenmuth is an interesting map...kind of forgot about that one. I'll have to go back and look at it again!
Good morning Krustoo!!!! Great video and love this series so far. I don't know about anybody else but I love of this type of series where we get to see all aspects. Not a huge fan of editing and we won't watch time-lapse. So glad we're watching this one. We are hooked, so hooked that I keep telling my husband that you can't hear him when we sit down to watch you on the TV but, he is a man so he keeps telling you his opinions 😄. Looking forward to the next episode.
Nice episode.... The shed choice fits great and I'm sure you pick another to place later too. By the way, it's easy to record on PS5; you just need internet. It's a click of a button and that's it. Only catch is that you can only record 60 minutes, but you can directly upload to your TH-cam Channel directly from your PS5. Prior to about 6 months ago or so, I was creating content strictly via "Wifi" directly to my TH-cam from my PS5 and even way back on my PS4 as well. It sure is nice being hard wired now though, the upload speed has made a big difference. On to another episode now.
I'm more likely to use autoloaders in this one. I find the auto-sell isn't very satisfying. You never get to actually see your products. I would also like to warehouse products for optimal sell times.
You can also install a water tap on your farm, and fill water there. No idea if it is original in the game, or a mod. At least I have it on this map in my game. And then you mentioned it on the video 2 minutes after I wrote it. lol
Most of the water tap/wells you can place are pretty slow to fill a big tanker. That's why I like the one at the shop, it's fast and cheap. We'll be strategic with how we develop the water system, especially if we run many big greenhouses.
i have a question. i search for a cultivator+seeder+ferti in one machine. horsch is not working unfortun. you now a mod for this. i have no idea. thx a lot
Dude you're going to want to three points hitch in a PTO on the front of the new tractor. You also want to drive out and look at the property you're going to buy you want flat and level
I haven't used autodrive in the past, though I did use the autodrive-like features in the FS19 Courseplay. That said, I hope to develop a small town with shops and services in this series, probably in the middle of the map somewhere.

Now that's an awesome MF tractor. Sweet!!@@krustoo
Love the series. Keep well
Thanks...glad you found it!

👍👍👍👍
🚜🐄🐮👌
Omatana’s water is free so it’s definitely my go to
She's got some cool mods, for sure.
Great episode I think field 45 will be a good one it's starting to look like a farm
45 seems like a solid choice.
I started with FS15. Currently, I play the Frankenmuth Michigan map. I enjoy your videos.

I figured you guys might like this style! Also, I think I heard your husband. Pretty sure I did!
great video!
Thank you! Just subbed on your channel. Looking forward to seeing how you handled Fichthal. I struggled a little there! 😝

So you can record voice as well? Are there any editing tools in the console before you upload?
good series so far. wish i had found it sooner
Thanks! This is pretty much my most entertaining (to myself) series so far. I like how it plays out, though there are many challenges along the way.
You can also set the greenhouses to autosale, then you just need to fill water. A bit less profit, but less job.

Plot closer to shop
We'll definitely get that one, but it probably won't be the next one. I'd like to develop all along that main road.
in Silo Extensions, get the supplementary watertank for $2100. place it next to the green house and it will auto water for ya.
Still considering if I'm keeping the flowers. If I do, I will definitely get the extensions!

There is some Horsch stuff that does those things. Maybe check modhub for other Horsch options.

Yes, absolutely. I'll definitely be looking at both of those. Cheers!
i am a newbie, but is it not possible to get water from the lake ?
I tried. Unfortunately, no. Some maps are set up for this. This is a pond I made myself. That reminds me, I should make more ponds and lakes!
u could alway use auto drive for runs to the shop and sell point

@@krustoo nice
45 would be your best bet, it’s flat and not many trees
Good choice! All the recommendations so far are 45. Seems inevitable :)
45
Good choice. I think we'll go with that.
