Not only that; if any of the cans come to a stop without hitting something (even bouncing off a wall), they can be consumed for two things:
- Regain can ammo
- And health, if taken some damage earlier.

Some of these actually look pretty painful. Especially the traffic cone one.
We got various gimmicks in these modern kirby games. Return to dream land gave us the stronger or super copy abilities. Triple deluxe(forgot but I know Hypernova exists), super robo planet gave us a mech suit, star allies let us turn enemies to friends then we got moutful mode, and I love it

Man, Mouthful Mode seems so fun
I admit I expected there to be more different modes, but I won't complain. My only complaint is the limited copy ability selection, but that's likely there because 1) the upgrades do carry some flare of other abilities from other games, and 2) they were likely testing the waters to see how well the copy abilities would work in 3D, so they started with the ones that would be easiest to translate.
@@AzureMoebius22 considering how much stuff they added to Star Allies with DLC I’d be incredibly surprised if the same didn’t happen here.

I feel like this game was made solely to remind everyone of how small kirby is.

There has never been a bad Kirby game. There is a reason for that. Tech demos of a 3d Kirby game started as a mini game that became a standalone remake of Kirby's Dreamland/Spring Breeze/Revenge of the King. Void Termina was a proof of concept for full 3D bosses. And finally, the pieces all come together. No risk to the process, the experiment cleverly merged with other titles, and a full 3D Kirby experience rolls off the line with years more development than any other Kirby game.
