you think that was intentional? cause it looked like there was going to be more happening after slamming that cage on the ground. i mean, why would they bother adding that smoke effect in the end?

Honestly, I never got to see any of these besides the dark vortex one (very hard to avoid on the first try) most of the boss related deaths are pretty brutal though... Of course the average kirby player won't know unless they tried to die because lets be honest... They give you plenty of time to escape (besides the vortex, what makes it worse is the *_"And here we are!"_* that goes with it)
I somehow managed to beat the entire game (including all the postgame all the way through morpho night) deathless, even tho I did do a lot of the tough fights, including final boss and post game, with double health and a Maxim tomato in my inventory (so basically 3x health). @@jaykay8426 Yes, compared to Super Mario Odyssey, I can easily do without the 10 coins that are taken from me upon death. It hardly feels like a penalty.

Technically there's also that instant death at the end of the final boss QTE shown in this video, but I don't know if that counts.
