Great job! Your projects are always so well made and have more attention to detail than the larger channels. You deserve so much more attention!!! #justice
Your builds are always so well made and full of detail! You always take the time to figure out every little detail it shows. The so-called professionals in the cosplay world should take lessons from you!
If you are still interested, I just launched an Easterling helmet: th-cam.com/video/g2JN_VzZvw4/w-d-xo.html When you asked about this, I was currently working on it:) Great minds think alike!
Thanks man! I can't take credit for the plywood idea, but I was amazed how easy it was to get the shield shape by using it. Regarding the tree; my wood burner with changeable tips is my new best friend in the studio:)
So great, I’ve been watching your stuff for months, going to try my hand at the Robert and Daemon helmets for my cousin and brother, respectively for renaissance faire! And if I can put in a request for my fiancé, Boromir shield, please, I just got her the sword from United cutlery, and she wants the shield haha
Thank you for watching!!! That is so cool, let me know how they turn out! Funny thing... the shield is on my list ;) I'm just trying to figure out how to get the correct shape.
It's been a while, but I finally managed to make a video for Boromir's Shield (if you're still interested). th-cam.com/video/F5IVYMi0O40/w-d-xo.html It definitely took some planning to figure out all the details:)
Question, can you plastidip the shield , paint and then glue the appliqués? I am considering spray painting them before applying to the painted shield. Will it glue properly?

Thank you! That is really nice to hear, and hopefully it will get more attention soon:)

Thank you, hearing that really mean a lot:)
I saw the thumbnail for this, and I wouldn't have guessed it was wood covered in foam! You did an amazing job! #loveit
Thank you so much!
Amazing Work, Easterling helmet please
Thanks! That would be a really cool one to add to the collection:)

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm glad you like it :)
This is phenomenal!!! Your builds are always phenomenal! Any chance you could make Boromir's shield?
Thank you! Nice of you to say so:) I've had a couple of people ask about the same project;)
Hey man, Insane job on the shield... it really looks amazing! Great work and I appreciate the shout out!
Thanks that really means a lot! Thank you for the amazing unboxing!
The tree detail is insane! Great job!!! Do you ever plan on making Gimli's axe?
Thanks! I've been eyeballing them, it's just finding the time to make them. Trust me I want everything from LOTR that I can:)
How?! Seriously... HOW!?! This is AMAZING! You should be working for a studio!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Dude that's insane work. I was curious how you did the tree in the middle, but the plywood blew me away lol

You can and they will stick, but adhesion may not be as secure since the plastidip has "sealed" the pores in the foam.
Would this be capable without using wood platform?
If you have another way to curve the shield, then yes.
Could I commission you to make me one of these? I’d love to make one but I just don’t have the tools too. :(
