      You're missing out Kang Daniel ft Simon D ft Jamie -Waves it has reggaton vibe and it's so goodddd 🔥🔥🔥🔥
      By the way Kang Daniel was in a show Produce 101 which formes idols groups and he won 1st place becoming the center of Wanna one (a project group who would disband after one year) . After Wanna One disbanded he opened his own entertaiment agency Konnect
      Simon D is one of the most well known rappers in Korea (a 2nd generation rapper) part of AOMG.
      Used to be co-CEO of AOMG but decided to quit so that he could focus more on music
      Jamie - I've just started to get to know her but I can say she is one of the most talented woman in industry

    About the song Papaoutai, to give you some backstory about Stromae: Stromae's dad was actually killed in Rwanda's genocide in 1994 while he was visiting his family there, his mom only told him the truth about it a few years later when he was 12 years old, but his dad was already an absent figure in Stromae's life before that.

    • @ellaella5537
      @ellaella5537 4 ปีที่แล้ว +80

      Actually, his dad moved back to Rwanda when his dad asked him too, to continu the family legacy, Stromae was super young. He was an architect over there. This is also why Stromae never really saw him. He went there once for a month. He made a new family over there, he has lots of half brothers and sisters in Rwanda. He was killed during the massacre, but never found, they only found his shirt. His family over there finally told him that he was most likely dead.

    Stromae has been taking a break since 2016, I think for health reasons, he had a burnout and needed to take care of himself and rest, and he also started a family, but he isn't completely out of the music scene, he has a music label and has been producing music for other artists.

      Most of Stromae's songs are masterpieces imo and picking any is a hard choice but these two suggestions (Carmen & formidable) and of course "quand c'est?" are great picks.
      I can also suggest "batard" and/or "peace or violence" because of the social message those songs contain.

      There is a documentary about him on TH-cam. Supposedly he stopped it because it was too stressful and the stress was not letting him be happy. That's why he doesn't have personal social media either. He was always thinking of next music video. Then he stopped as that type of artist and created an online store with home decor and clothing inspired in his music videos sceneries. From time to time, he promotes his things, with new music .

    For the story of the artist. He started as an unknown belgian rapper. Then made his first and biggest break through (first that made it really around the world, i remember at that time having friends in Medellin listening to it) with the clip "alors on danse" in a completely different musical type, kind of a hangover, drinking to forget the monotony of life. All the music of that first clip, was actually made by him with only his computer, super low budget. Then made the 2 clips you just made the reaction videos. He made also one clip for the world cup and finished his singles with the song "formidable" (wonderful). That he released the clip like it was some kind of news and not like a clip, starting with him drunk in the streets but filmed like it was random people filming, showing the downfall of a celebrity and people reaction to it, without the music and it made to the news like "Stromae drunk in the streets of Brussels". Probably his biggest genious act, everybody fall for it. And then the day after, he released the real clip and people understood, it was just a setup. Then a few months later, he announced he retires from the showbiz, saying he wanted to be an anonymous people again (it was 5 years ago). He kind of delivered all the messages he wanted to deliver through his music.... so I doubt you'll ever hear about him after that.

    He actually stopped doing music videos because the stress was so much, he wasn't happy and that was the reason he started it, to do what makes him happy. He was always thinking what to do next. Then he decided to keep doing music but just for his clothing line. He has an online store and promote it with music created for it. He also stopped using personal social media. It was very sad for me when I found that out. HE is my favorite artist of all times.

    Stromea's name comes from jumbling the word Maestro and his music is a mix of African Rhythms and French chansons.
    This song was dedicated to his father who was murdered during the genocide in Rwanda.
    He was one of the last bastions of Belgian music.

    Hi, I love your comments on Stromae. Unfortunately he had a burn out few years ago and quit his absolutely great career as a sing and creator. He started a clothes brand with his wife... 😉

    You know guys, he's considered as the spiritual son of JACQUES BREL : Track like NE ME QUITTE PAS... is iconic from french music from the 50's

    It's the reverse of MAESTRO , that pronounce Straw Ma Hey !!! You should react to an another song of this Belgium guy , "Quand c'est" , it's about the Cancer (Quand c'est it's two word that real close in the pronouncation to Cancer). For the record , before being a singer , he was a beatmaker for famouse rapers.

      Coucou , pourrais-tu préciser qu’il est Belge et non Français ?

    • @lilaladdada
      @lilaladdada 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Xi Klein il est Belge sans nul doute :de son vrai nom Paul Van Haver, né le 12 mars 1985 à Etterbeek, en Belgique, est un auteur-compositeur-interprète et producteur belge originaire de Laeken, à Bruxelles[. De père rwandais et de mère Belge ( père qui donc est décédé au Rwanda ) . D’où son inspiration pour papaooutaï ... voilà voilà ( un petit tour sur Wikipedia et vous en sauriez tout autant 😉)

      @lilaladdada 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Xi Klein en aucun cas il y de grands artistes belges bien sûr mais de très grands artistes français et bien plus que de belges désolée je ne vais pas faire la liste en commençant avec Piaf Brassens et etc mais oui il y des bons artistes en Belgique mais soyez logique regardez la taille des pays ok ! Rien d’anormal à cela maintenant : il est aussi Rwandai si on détaille n’est pas bref je ne rentre plus ds ces considérations c’est ridicule ils sont francophones oui ou non voilà au revoir ( vous devez vous ennuyez dites donc !)
      Adieu

    Hi guys, I really love your video's, very interesting and fun to watch.
    In this song and video there were some major contributions from US-American dancer Tight Eyez and Congolese legend Papa Dizzy. The director is Adam Nael. I know you can't cover everything in a video, but please remember and remind your audience that music and especially videos are often created by a whole team of people, that absolutely deserve the credit. Some artists even give complete freedom to video directors but end up receiving all the credits for the story and visuals.
    Besitos from Belgium 🇧🇪😘
