For anyone working with thin plastic, metal or PVC a stepper drill bit will be your go-to tool. It's a multi-size single flute bit and will make beautiful holes that need very little cleanup. In fact you can just gently touch the next step to your project and bevel the edge. If you don't have a stepper drill you can run your hole saw backwards.

Great video and versatile power box for your FF. I got a old 899 bird unit with SI and DI on my kayak. I mounted it to the track on one side and made a pvc transducer arm on the other gear track. My lipo battery sits in my milk crate behind me. Once loved the clean look and versatility of your box. 👍🏾👍🏾

Say I absolutely loved your transducer arm that you made. Very functional and easy to use. I will be changing mine up to one like yours. I’ve had several issues with the arm not staying in position as well as the actually transducer moving at times. I think your design will help me out with those issues. Thx for sharing. 👍🏾👍🏾🎣🎣👍🏾👍🏾

@@PROAMOUTDOORS most definitely I already. I’ve been a follower of your videos since I first saw them: I got a Yukon as well. So seeing someone else’s way of improving it is a sight for sore eyes. I have raised the seat up, anchor trolley added/ removed, added a spot lock trolling motor (scares the crappie so I don’t really use it much). Your DIY projects have some great ingenuity. Any improvements for the Yukon I welcome…..

NIce one, just do a test tocheck how waterproof this box is, I got a Plano one, that is far from waterfroof, found out in the worst way. The water pass freely through the hinge.... fixed that with silicone. Subscribed.
Is there a reason you put the monitor facing the way you did? I could see the monitor blocks the handle from opening all the way. I think if you change the monitor facing the other way it would be better and the weight of the battery should keep it from tilting in the monitors direction.

Nao sei se teria algum problema, mas eu nao carrego a bateria pelo plug da caixa por passar pelo fusivel. Retirar a bateria nao e' necessario, so abrir a tampa e conectar o carregador. Mas se quiser da para fazer um sistema para carregar sem abrir a tampa, e' so' modificar o fio do carregador para o mesmo tipo de conector para o plug da caixa.
Could you do a slow charge through the usb or cigarette lighter adapter? Have you tried that yet now that it’s been a year?
Because there’s a lithium phosphate battery I have to open up the top and just clamp on a particular battery charger for that type of battery to charge it. There is a multifunctional battery charger from Harbor freight

Great catch sorry I did not address that in that video. But the charger I use is from Harbor freight. He charges any battery, including lithium, and Lipo .4

I have the Humminbird helix, seven with mega side, imaging and down scan. And I just turn them in for the best picture.
