I just happened to have a can of biscuits in my fridge so I figured why not. I tried making these by dipping in the butter/brown sugar mixture then in the sugar/cinnamon mixture. You definitely get more of the sugar/cinnamon mixture to stick. I would recommend almost doubling both mixtures. It may have been a bit messier, but I think the results were good. I did bake them for 18 minutes, with good results. I made a powdered sugar glaze and glazed half of them.
I have made monkey bread before the other way in a bunt pan it was to much for just me and my husband so I am going to make it you made it thank you for your recipe

@@recipeswithrae With the icing.
Even if I watch it 100 or 1000 times, my mouth hurts. It's the best
Great idea to use muffin cups.
I love your personality... I'm definitely going to try and will let you know how it turns out..thank you for posting 😘
Yummy 😋
I made it along with you and substituted Splenda🎉
@Recipes With Rae yes, just like a cinnamon role. I think rolling in butter first is probably best, but messy!
You do each step in the longest way possoble. Strive for time efficiency.
Yummmy
I would have rolled the biscuit pieces in butter first, then in the sugar mixture! 👍😋
Yeah, that seems the most logical - better stickability for the cinnamon-sugar mix!
Salted or unsalted butter
@@recipeswithrae thanks
I’d use salted to get the sweet and salty taste. Light on the salt of course.

For your Turbinado sugar, just put it in a grinder, food processor, blender to make it a finer sugar.
@@recipeswithrae you're so welcome!
The plastic bag way is easier and faster!
Use the toothpick test
Good call ☝️
This video is 16 minutes too long
Quoting the Bible after showing us the evolution of monkey is hilarious
@Recipes with Rae yes after eating a dish made primarily from butter and sugar and bread, it's important to reflect on your sins.
