- It's been a couple of weeks since I opened a Star Wars figure so I was getting twitchy. The GameStop/Barnes&Noble/Disney exclusive Hasbro Black Series Clone Commander Wolffe is more of the same but damn if it doesn't look great!

Here's to hoping the continue to release Clone commanders and captains. I'd love to see Bacara, Thorn, Fox, Fives, Gregor etc. I'd happily spend more for a reissued body with a new head cast.

Love this figure! My Black Series clones are one of my favorite parts of my collection! Now give us Ordo, the ARC trooper from the “Republic Commando” novels, Hasbro! 😃

Just checked my GameStop’s Website and found Wolffe and Fox, I can buy them now but I’d have to go pick them up, I definitely will when I find the time to pick them up

Ok so when are we gonna be able to get delta squad (all of them)camouflage scout trooper, arc trooper fives & echo, and commander fordo and the galactic marine trooper? Imo these are some of the best troopers period. And are we ever gonna get an episode 2 "I hate sand" anakin? And how about a (no longer canon)Kyle Katarn?

Your Wolffe impression is on point
I loved this guy as a collector whos in it purely for the charachters I like I did some slight modifacation by mixing together a proper brown evenly distributed the weathering across the whole figure especially over the completely clean boots and making a custom kama the one he comes with is ok but dosent lay right so I cut it off and attateched 2 pieces of black ribbon cut and painted along the edge to look like his kama and glued it to his belt it hangs down alot better and looks closer to the kamas from the live action movies

Andrew James 1 I doubt we’ll be seeing much in terms of Clones for a while, Hasbro said they want to focus heavily on Episode 1 next year

I actually picked one of these today. I added some more extra dirt and chipping just to add some extra depth.

Awesome review Robo! Just so you know, you nailed the clone trooper voice! Lol! Sounds like a Dee Bradly Baker and Tamir Morrison mix. Also, my brother has Commander Wolffe and he hasn't experienced any nose drooping. I think the eye is photo real but it's done so well that it's hard to tell. Idk. But what I do know is that he has a bionic eye after getting attacked by Asajj Ventress in The Clone Wars. It wasn't on screen but it's canon.

@@TheFwoosh yeah. The bad thing is I didn't know how to spell the live action Jango Fett/clone actor's name, so I do the "speak to text" thing and still spelled it wrong. Lol!
Now we just need a Plo Koon and some wolf pack troopers...

Great helmet and head sculpt, the only thing I don't like about this figure is the lack of consistent weathering all over him.
the head does have face printing, you can definitely see the sort of pixely look... although i agree that it does look different from the other face printings. also, my rex’s nose also got smashed but if i left it with the helmet off it returned back to normal in a day or so. awesome video as usual

The Fwoosh hey robo, i was wondering if the bandai model kit fits in with the black series clones. i have done many models and even the model kit figures but never had two of the same type of character standing next to each other. i was thinking of painting one up to in wolffes battalion. would it look strange and out of place?

Oh man, the Bandai model clones and the SWBS clones are as close in size as you're going to get. The only real difference is the models are sharper sculpts, of course, but the white are just a bit off. The SWBA is a little grey, the models are stark white. But if you're painting, shouldn't be a problem at all. And you're welcome, I appreciate the kind words man!
Have you heard anything else on the Mafex Venom and Deadpool?

I think Deadpool is coming out May of 2019. Loong wait, hopefully we'll see promo images soon.
I mean it fits really great with the other troopers sooooooo............I'll probably try and get it. GameStop is kinda overpriced so I'll go for Barnes and Noble.
I personally feel that my copy has super glossy legs and I can see it's rather similar with yours as well

Commander Wolfe looks the best out of the bunch and least like an action figure tbh.
I think Fox takes the cake for amazing translation.

Even though this figure has minor flaws but they can be easily overlooked cause Wolffe ia overall a great figure to add your collection.
I think I missed this was even going to be a thing! Looks decent. I don't super mind the non photo real here since we only really saw him in the Clone Wars and REBELS. Maybe that was their thinking here as well?
Ultrazilla Toys it actually is photo real/printing. it just has a different look than other photo real figures. in person when you get up close you can see the usual fuzziness that comes with the printing

Actually Clone Rebellion didn't happen in the actual canon, where Wolffe is in.

I got a question if you don’t mind me asking. Do most if not all black series characters that can carry similar accessories (i:e blasters or lightsabers) can they use any other accessories? For example I want to get a phase I clone and give him Cassians a280 cfe accessory, will the clone be able to hold and pose with Cassians blaster rifle/pistol?
The clones have limited elbows so it can't hold rifles up to it's shoulders, but it can hold it in other poses fairly well.
But can it use other rifles?

I was about to say, I saw Wollfe for the first time in stores just this past weekend, but then you threw Australia in there. I've heard it's a completely different game there.
@@TheFwoosh Yep. The only stores that sell it are Target now that Toys R Us closed down. Targets not that bad, sometimes they have alot of variety, but its still unreliable. Most Australian black series collector just get their figures off thelittletoycompany.com.au

I’ve never seen black series at the Disney store. Only the Elite series.

Why didn’t they just use the Rex mold? All they had to do was change the helmet & remove the shoulder pads
Rex has those welded seams on a lot of his torso, maybe those new arms only work for that? No idea.

Awesome video! I just ordered Wolffe and wanted to get your opinion. I really wanted to display mine with his helmet on but you said like with Rex, the nose gets flattened. Should I display without the helmet? Really sucks because he does look good with helmet on.

I don't mind if the paint on the head looks a bit artificial. These are supposed to be clones- artificially-created lifeforms. Having them a little less 'real' is kinda fitting really.
