I finally found the whole wave at Walmart last week, along with Bo Katan. I bought them all, except Lando. (Love Lando, and will get eventually, but he is easy to find) This is one of the coolest waves in a long time. I have been a fan of the Aurra Sing character since I saw her first figure many years ago. There is just something about her that I like.
Anyone else find it weird how legends literally drops waves on top of each other meanwhile black series can’t even drop a whole wave at once nonetheless on time and have another prepared
Not really, Koska and troopers aside, you can't re-use parts parts for different Star Wars characters anywhere near as easily as you can for super heroes.
Marvel hits home runs nearly every release every year. Star Wars does not. Still very popular but it's in a distant 3rd place behind Transformers and Marvel.

I'm glad these finally released! It's felt like forever since they were revealed! It helps that I love all three of these, even Tech... despite him looking off. It's like when someone you've known forever who wears glasses finally takes them off.
It's interesting seeing the 3D render for Koska from Hasbro. The designers knew that Koska is supposed to have regular boots and they had planned on giving her them, but somewhere during the design process, it appears they couldn't factor the new lower legs into the budget, so she just wound up with Bo Katan's legs instead.
I actually had to help finding these out in the wild, but I only ever found Aurra and Bo Katan. I already had Bo so I just picked up Aurra. Now, my Walmart has 5 Landos and the same Greef Karga they’ve had for the past year.
Love the reviews! It feels like Hasbro is really penny pinching the Black Series line. Prices are going up, but so is re-use. Koska works, but should've had correct legs. Tech is great, but should've had goggles. I just have to tell myself that this is the only company that will make these characters and for the price, they're great likenesses.

4:56 that’s how jazwares need to make the kick pads on their AEW figures… have the kick pad be part of the bottom and go above the boot cut line this way when you rotate the boot to stand and pose your figures.. you don’t have that ugly cut and separation of the designs on kick pads.. that’s one really great thing toybiz did with their TNA figures I hope someone at Jazwares sees this and reads this comment lol.
Awesome way to start my birthday watching my favorite figure reviewer. Definitely Tech I like the best out of the 3 I definitely wanna complete the bad batch eventually.
I don't mind the parts reuse. Mandalorians all wear very similar looking armor. Translucent goggle lenses would've really helped Tech. Still looks good though.
Robo, I suspect Aurra was designed awhile ago and just pushed back. No butterfly joint, old style neck, double pinned knees, and the 45 degree hips. Cool learning about Aurra, gonna have her hang around grandma Jaina?
Aurra was my most wanted from this wave as well. Very disappointed in the y-jointed hips (torso re-use from Last Jedi Holdo iirc) but otherwise, I love all the other little details & accessories - the chains on the belt, the braids underneath the ponytail, the double trigger guards, the sculpted detail on the back of the vest. 15:50 Aww dammit, the eye makeup is too cool not to pick up a 2nd Aurra. 8:34 Might have to see if the goggles from that Target Excl Leia could be fudged on Tech’s head. 🤔
i’d like to see hasbro do a bossk figure with proportions similar to his look in star wars the clone wars. taller, lankier, more ferocious in my opinion. i think that would be cool
Did you know there is a variant of Aura Sing; there is one that does not have an antenna; I found it at walmart. It almost seems like it was supposed to be there but was not installed or included in the packaging.
I just got koska. I pre order tech a while ago and I hope to get Aurra and Zero soon. Don’t really care for the lando since I have a really good lando figure already
Three great looking figures. It doesn't bother me that Koska has shin armour on the figure. I just figure she added to her armour like Mando. What does bother me is Hasbro using those awful Y jointed hips. My Yavin Ceremony Luke and Imperial Patrol trooper have them. Both have a stripe on the outside of the leg which is out of whack when you lift and twist the leg. Grrr Hasbro!
OMG I’m so in love 🥰 🥰🥰 with Aurra Sing. One of my all time favorite characters. Her sassy and feisty attitude is addicting. Anyway, my preorders on this wave are in no-man’s-land, where I’ve only gotten one Lando, one Tech and one Q9 so far. Pulse and Dorkside are suffering major delays, so I tried the preorder at GameStop now. Hopefully I can finally get my hands on Aurra Sing. Your review of her figure was amazing. She’s gonna fit in nicely on a bounty hunter shelf, a Clone Wars shelf, wherever….😬. Appreciate the thorough review!

I swear in the clone wars and the bad batch tech used two dc-17’s. which always bugged me since he didn’t have any holsters but now it bugs me he only has one, guess I just refuse to be satisfied.

I really like my 3.75 Clone Wars Aurra Sing so didn't get the black series. Still waiting on my Koska Reeves from Target pre-order and kind of getting nervous it is going to get cancelled or delayed. My Hasbro Jyn Erso updated sculpt got delay until March!

On Tech, there IS some re-use. Specifically, I believe two of the tools are the same that the Mandalorian Armorer came with. So....accessory re-use, anyway.

I haven't actually laid hands upon them yet. Part of me is screaming no, I buy enough stuff and the changeover from Jazwares to Hasbro is a good break off point. But then I look at pics of the Hasbro figures again and think.....I neeeeeeeed them.

Can anyone explain to me why they don't make more figures to sell, knowing that star wars black series exclusives always sell out?? They are missing out on selling more figures, so why not make more to begin with??
@@TheFwoosh the only reason I know is because I used a Holdo figure to make a custom. Once you get the soft goods off the body is very unique and easy to recognize.

"re" and "over" haha. But in some people's brains it's the difference between me showing them what something can do and me trying to sell them something by shilling for a company. Plus it amuses me when people get annoyed at little things like that, and I like changing it up every now and then.
OK, Koska makes me a little bit angry, i don't mind re-use when appropriate but re-use of the same dirt pattern is taking it 3 steps too far... especially if paint is the one thing seperating 90% of the plastic of these 2 figures that will be standing side by sinde in 99% of shelves. The boots being not screen accurate makes the re-use sin counter go one point up as well, i doubt many will notice it but now that you've said it... can't be unseen... hmpf. And i don't care how it sounds, Koska's has more round curves than Bo in the Show, her Chest and rear end could have been modified to reflect that difference in body shape, look at the shots in the show where the two stand side by side, the Chest Armor even is a bit more curved/bigger on Koska. And yeah she uses one Pistol in the show, i AM going to complain about that extra Blaster, because those pennies in production could have been saved and instead gone into better paint or something.
Not sure why they just couldn't have made the inside of the helmet slide over the goggles . It's not like molding is a new technique. Oh well I guess Hasbro has its intentions ? Great review Robo.
It would have probably involved pushing and shoving to get it over the goggles, leading to complaints of paint scraping, and then it may not look right trying to line them up inside the helmet once it's on. I get why they went this way, but at least throw in some removable goggles. They've done it before.
Yeah that makes sense. I was thinking if they made a channel that the laser or red light sticking off the right side of his goggles could slide off and on .. molded in black would lessen the paint scrape . But still a great figure to have . Now if BBTS would hurry up and ship mine that'd be great !

From an engineering stand point they could have done without the Y-hips and been fine. Those were a huge let down on one of my favorite characters.

He had holsters whenever the animators felt like it in random episodes of TBB. He should have come with the second DC-17 regardless.

I was most excited for Aurra Sing, but imo this is the worst figure of the wave, bad articulation and the strap for the sniper gives me nightmares
I actually ended up liking Tech a little more, but Aurra at least looks accurate. Just moves wonky.
