Tracking a Male Leopard and the Moment of Discovery | Monwana Game Lodge | Thornybush Nature Reserve

After hearing some vervet monkeys' alarm calls, we set off to follow up. Guide and Tracker team Daniel and Fanoti stopped to listen and then came up with a plan of action. Checking a few areas, they found tracks of an adult male leopard. Daniel and Fanoti jumped off the vehicle to investigate how fresh and where these tracks were heading. And the rest, as they say, is history - some incredible skill showcased by Daniel and Fanoti led us straight to the Malewane male leopard, an incredible moment of discovery on safari at Monwana Game Lodge.
