    All jokes aside, I've been here since 2010 and have always told people this area is underrated.

    It was so peaceful and calm here 10-15 years ago. Now you can't go anywhere without it being an hour long trip wether it's Kingston pike or Northshore. Horrible to see all the farm land being sold off and to be developed into apartments and cookie cutter houses. I'm not far off from selling my property, business, and whatever else needed to gtfo of this once laid back town thats become a sesspool of people.

      We just have more people wanting to buy a home in Knoxville than we have homes.

    Cost of living = stupid high, real estate = stupid expensive, wages=not cutting it. I can't wait to move away from Knoxville.

    Houses are not affordable anymore in Knoxville. The prices have doubled in the last year. We have the highest home home value spike in the united states right now in Tennessee
