I was at the game and Laois got 2 penalties , especially the last one and they were the softest I have ever seen.

But Offaly changed tactics after this game and played WITH a goalkeeper.

That was Pat Fluery. Tony Doran was too brave for his own good, putting his head where you wouldn't even put your hand. Great full forward though.
Whether Horan's goal or not the fact was/ is at the time Laois could push Offaly all the way but couldn't do it against any other team.
