I KNOW ITS BEEN A LONG TIME! I finished up my Jakarta internship, had my week and a half of complete fun in Shanghai with my family and friends, and have finally settled down in Beijing for my next internship.
It’s about time to return to the world of TH-cam :)
I’m kind of sad that I only have a few more Oxford PPE related videos left, but also INCREDIBLY relieved - now’s the time to COMMENT ALL THE VIDEOS YOU WANT TO SEE because smh I’m not going to feel like posting another one after these last 4-5 ones….
Some of you may have heard, but I have an almost impossible goal of subscribers I would like to reach by the end of my summer (October) -- which quadruples my current subscriber count. I don't think I'll get to it, nor do I think I have a good shot, but nonetheless I really want to try!!
The main reason for this is that going into second year of UChicago, it might become harder and harder for me to upload videos, and an increased audience will only be extra motivation for me to treat this as a serious hobby instead of just "oh yeah I do that sometimes"

Thank goodness you said interviews are very important for ppe. It’s a breath of fresh air understanding that the university will judge me more on my character then my grades.
Just to share that PPE in LSE focus on all three subjects(that’s why iris 4 yrs), KCL has a very good philosophy department and UCL only offers you two routes including Phil and Pol or Pol and Econ. :)
The philosophy department in kcl is not at all diverse and very rundown

I taught in the Oxford Institute of Agricultural Economics. I found out that those who are PPE graduates are totally unprepared for the Masters Degree course I used to teach. PPE is only good for the future journalists and politicians. It is not good for anyone who wants go for a Master's Degree and D.Phill.
Please make some videos on phd requirements, process, apply process,time duration everything in depth about PPE subjects...for international students please
Hi! What’s your opinion on Australian unis that offer PPE? I’m planning to study either PPE or PolSci/IR at UWA and i was wondering what are your thoughts on aussie unis in particular that offer the course.

She probably went to international school in Shanghai, with American or Canadian teachers.
I applied to Philosophy and Economics at LSE because it's AAA and only 3 years instead of 4
ahh I see! I applied to LSE as well with *not great* results -- honestly that's a really good choice! :)
LSE has got one of the best alumni list in world politics and business.

What were your IB subjects? Because I'm in sl math aa, and I'm scared that I should have done hl math for PPE.
Would having a foreign highschool diploma lower my chances of getting in? Or do they just convert my results to the equivalent Alevel result?

PPE grads are really versatile and highly needed both in government and private sectors, especially if you’re an Oxford PPE grad. In Malaysia where I’m living at, most of them ended up being MPs, ministers, business leaders and even some members of the royal family studied PPE. It’s a really prestigious major i would say.
