I'm glad I picked sorceress because from what I've seen, armour and evasion just don't compare to energy shield. The fact that there is practically no energy shield skills on the south side of the skill tree is just a tragedy.
For me currently it looks like the only valid option to survive in this game is to have ES and Evasion or ES only. Maybe i'm missing something but there's no way to gradually increase HP so even if you want to go full Evasion eventually you end up getting hit by something that will result in K.O. Initially i was hoping to get as much evasion as possible and ramp up my resistances but it doesn't work as expected. With like 1,5k hp and 87% evasion and around 50-60% resitances(except chaos) i'm getting killed quite often in 75-78 lvl maps while i'm lvl 85. The only way to survive is to dump everything into ES but that means sacrificing a lot of damage output which is sad.
@@tambulee the gorilla wasn’t so bad. Not too difficult avoiding his one shot ability and use the ruins to block his roll. The problem is the mobs around the temple. I had one attempt where a blues showed up. Totally unfair.
first piece of advice? completely ignore "armor". it's literally useless. and full armor chest pieces are actively detrimental. also ignore health and health regen. also useless.
@@Choryrth 75% on resistances is obligated...that being said, evade is gambling agains accuracy numbers you don't know. It may not be often, but some strikes hit you and dying at lvls 70+ costs 15% XP. Armour and max life (also es) make these hits way more manageable. Also chaos dmg hits ES twice as hard as life pool. Also to consider: bleeding is physical dmg, but not reduced by armour, what makes a proper life (or es) pool necessary.
@@anyone933 armor is functionally useless, at every level. and you don't need to spec into life (which is what i was talking about, what to spec into in the passive tree) to have a reasonable/useful life pool for surviving bleed and poison. and ES is ridiculously strong, as is evasion. if armor did anything, anything at all, evasion wouldn't be as good or useful. but evasion is inarguably better than armor, because it actually does something. meanwhile life doesn't matter because you A, can't get enough life to get anywhere close to the survivability of Es or evade, and B, because life regen is total dogshit as well. meaning a life/armor build is, objectively, the worst survival build you could possibly make. you're literally better off building entirely into damage, than into armor, life, and life regen.
Oh thank god you used Geonor (in cruel) as an example. He’s humbling be rn and I def underestimated his cold attacks this time around
Bleed is phys. Chaos damages es twice, not skipping it
sry wrong info by me...bleeding as well as poison bypasses ES.

So how did you get/go from 0 to 56 evasion? Is it just from affixses on your gear?
Energy flask regen is helpful too. Health and mana roll with these buffs.
Nice video! I recommend getting some more sockets to your skills☺️

Bro that Gorilla drove me up the wall. My gear was so bad at that time.

@@anyone933 seriously, look it up. use elemental resistance, energy shield or avoidance. armor and increased max life and regen are absolute trash.
