      Do you use a press for the inlays, or just hammer them in?

    This has probably been asked already but I can’t find the answer. Can you please share what brand/model CNC you’re using? Thanks 😊. You do amazing work 👍👍

    I like your videos. I actually purchased your explanation on how to set dips and stuff still working on getting that figured out but very helpful. Thank you for making that available.

    In order to avoid cleaning the pockets you can run the same program twice, the second time just add like 50% to the feed. Nice work, mate.

    Hi Nik,
    I have watched several of your videos and they are great. I'm doing some inlays myself and I'm always messing around with parameters. I plan on purchasing your "how to find inlay parameters" soon. I'm sure I can learn from it. I have one question for you. You mentioned in another video that you use the press from Harbor Freight. I have often thought of purchasing it, but I have a small shop, and don't have the room right now. Anyway the question is, it seems in this video as in others you seem to leave the board on the CNC when you glue your inlay in. Do you take it off camera and put it in the press, or is just banging it in sufficient? Thanks and keep the videos coming! Greg

    Always beautiful work man...just insane! How do you keep your inlays on top/inside other inlays so precise when having to remove and press and place back on CNC? You really just find center again and again?

    Very nice! When you change bits... do you re-home to get back to zero? I always feel that I'm flexing the spindle and it may mess up zero but could be overthinking!

    I was curious, Why you don't use a flattening bit to remove the excess wood on the inlay?

  • @CSparzo
    @CSparzo 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Is there a reason you don’t just use compressed air to clean out the inlay?

    When you glue the inlay in how much pressure and how long do you leave it in the press.

      I would also love to see the press setup you use. I think I have seen it once before in a video but can't find it. I want to get a simple bottle jack press but don't know how you make it wide enough to get equal pressure on the board. Maybe you could post a photo or film it in your next video. Love your work.

    Very cool. But. I would recommend for future to match colour of the parquet. Chaos of colours and making them visible in the base understates grade. It is not artistic.
