Do you use a press for the inlays, or just hammer them in?
Just watched en episode with your guest "Broinwood" and I was blown by his ability to commit to such very detailed work of art. Thanks for sharing.
Hope to order my CNC soon.
This has probably been asked already but I can’t find the answer. Can you please share what brand/model CNC you’re using? Thanks 😊. You do amazing work 👍👍
I just found your channel from a video by TH-camr Andy Bird Builds. Your work is amazing, and I know I will enjoy your channel very much, and hopefully learn A LOT from you.
BroinwooD back catalog #2. Love it. Keep them coming, please!
Yet another fantastic piece, really like the combination of wood used
I like your videos. I actually purchased your explanation on how to set dips and stuff still working on getting that figured out but very helpful. Thank you for making that available.
In order to avoid cleaning the pockets you can run the same program twice, the second time just add like 50% to the feed. Nice work, mate.
Awesome!! Love watching your videos!
Hi Nik,
I have watched several of your videos and they are great. I'm doing some inlays myself and I'm always messing around with parameters. I plan on purchasing your "how to find inlay parameters" soon. I'm sure I can learn from it. I have one question for you. You mentioned in another video that you use the press from Harbor Freight. I have often thought of purchasing it, but I have a small shop, and don't have the room right now. Anyway the question is, it seems in this video as in others you seem to leave the board on the CNC when you glue your inlay in. Do you take it off camera and put it in the press, or is just banging it in sufficient? Thanks and keep the videos coming! Greg
hello, did you buy the "how to find inlay parameters" and was it good?
I need to figure out how to do this in Fusion. Absolutely gorgeous.
Well, another nice board Nik!!!
Beautiful and mesmerizing to watch! I just curious to know how deep you make your inlays?
Excelent job!!
Always beautiful work man...just insane! How do you keep your inlays on top/inside other inlays so precise when having to remove and press and place back on CNC? You really just find center again and again?
brilliant video as usual ...... can you do a video of the set up of the computers as this would be really helpful for newbys like miself . keep em coming
Nice board great detail. Question, how did you clamp down glued pieces when you hand to leave board on cnc table?
Beautiful work! What CNC machine are you using
Very enjoyable
More videos please!!
Really nice
Nice work. You can really speed up your sanding with a good sander..
SPLENDID
Very nice! When you change bits... do you re-home to get back to zero? I always feel that I'm flexing the spindle and it may mess up zero but could be overthinking!
I was curious, Why you don't use a flattening bit to remove the excess wood on the inlay?
Is there a reason you don’t just use compressed air to clean out the inlay?
When you glue the inlay in how much pressure and how long do you leave it in the press.
What CNC machine are you using? Would you recommend it to a newbie?
Hi Nik, I hope to meet you someday. Where are you located? How can we connect?
Now we just need a sanding attachment for the cnc.
How are you getting thin end grain stock to mill your inlay pieces?
what CNC machine can you recommend? to start ?
How do you clamp those small inlays?
I would love to learn how to do that.
What settings do you use for the inlay?
Beautiful project, are you interested in Monport CO2 80W laser collaboration? @Broinwood
How do you clamp the inlay to the board? Paper press jig?
I would also love to see the press setup you use. I think I have seen it once before in a video but can't find it. I want to get a simple bottle jack press but don't know how you make it wide enough to get equal pressure on the board. Maybe you could post a photo or film it in your next video. Love your work.
How deep did you cut female and male parts
That's a thick board

Very cool. But. I would recommend for future to match colour of the parquet. Chaos of colours and making them visible in the base understates grade. It is not artistic.
