I knew there was a Star Trek question as part of the final question, with only one pointless answer. By comparison, this was pathetic. (no, I don't remember which episode it was now)
It's interesting to see just how different this early episode is from later ones. 3 steps in the Head to Head, only one choice per category in the final, no real contestant interview. Even the podiums look different.
@@seanwilliams4087 I had read something along those lines, but I was thinking leather guy because leatherman just seems to be a brand of pocket knife to me.
Honestly, was expecting it as the first or second round, like name an alien species from the franchise Or name an actor who played a Captain. But you guys took the easy way out.
or a character who has been in TNG DS9 and voyager Q Quark Morn if you say riker it was Thomas in Ds9 you could say Tuvok as he was in Genarations Ds9 and voyager
Mel Gibson was in an Australian movie called Tim, with Piper Laurie. I expected it to be on the Pointless list, but it wasn’t. I guess someone said it.
even back in those days of the 4? shows if you are going to put it in the title of the video i would have hoped it would be a bigger question in the shows. why you disrespect TOS: The animated Series by not even including it as an option is beyond me.
Please don't use clickbait titles. The title should reflect the final round as likely the most in-depth trivia. For anyone else who is disappointed in the comments, here's a true Star Trek Pointless final question for you... We gave 100 people 100 seconds to name.... Star Trek actors credited in the opening sequence. Yes we're looking for any actor who is credited in the opening title sequence of a Star Trek TV series (not animated shows or films) from the Original Series through to the time of recording. Your 60 seconds start... now!
Its BBC. Like American PBS other government broadcasters. I don't think tax payers want to offer "who wants to be millionaire" prize money. I like that everyone seems to happy to win.
Damn I was hoping there more than 2 seasons of this...Also definetly says the differnce between US and Brit....as I was nOPE THAT POINTLESS answer is getting at least 20
As someone across the pond in the US that's been a fan of this show for years, I greatly appreciate the uploads. Thank you!
Was hoping the Star Trek question would be a bit longer seeing as it was in the title, but it would be a bit more interesting if asked nowadays
Agreed. Disappointing question.
That was just click bait.

why didn't they count TAS? 😢
Technically Mel Gibson was in Passsion of the Christ, his hand was the one holding the nail
Probably was uncredited though so it wouldn't count.
Aconcagua most popular meaning comes from Quechua 'Sentinel of Stone'
I guess this is a really old episode because there have been more than 4 Star Trek TV series
Broadcast 16th April 2010.
Rather disappointed they excluded The Animated Series for some reason.
@@OriginalPiMan yep canon

I would have chosen Gallipoli for the First question
The Village People character was "Leatherman" who took his look from the dress code of a gay BDSM leather bar and sex club, not a "biker".

42:02 the most british most male, most awkward celebration!
I would have said "Discovery" and definitely gotten a 0. Winner winner chicken dinner!
This episode aired seven years before Discovery started.
@@davidguthary8147 Yup. Just a little joke on my part (or I'm a time traveler) ;)

Well, I would have won on the 'Trek round! Was always going to be between Enterprise and Voyager to beat DS9.
How old is this clip? Only 4 star trek series? There's at least 4 more not on the list now!
lived up to it's title wonderfully.
a pointless watch, one question on StarTrek.
I'm Australian...when I went to the movie to see Gallipoli...I was so upset. I won't say what I said considering its a British show.
Mel Gibson was in an Australian movie called Tim, with Piper Laurie. I expected it to be on the Pointless list, but it wasn’t. I guess someone said it.
That was going to be my guess. I thought Gallipoli would be worth at least 20.
I wish they had said how much Lethal Weapon I to IV scored in the Mel Gibson round, just out of curiosity.
This episode the record for the most Pointless answers?

When was this aired? Why is Star Treck Discovery or Picard not included?
Aired in 2010. Before both of those
I hate that I feel for the misleading clickbait title
Is this the first time you watch an episode? There is NEVER an topic with an extensive dive into anything.
Still a delightful show. ❤

Always find the jackpot on this game laughable. Hardly any point

False advertising! 1 ST question doesn’t deserve a title spot.
BBC.... Pointless. (That's not a program schedule. It's a statemernt.
Incorrect answer. 100 points!
The Mel Gibson film “The Million Dollar Hotel” by Bono was absolute trash and very very boring. Don’t bother.
How much did the hotel cost?
Wow. 3000 pounds. They can retire to Fiji now.
They can buy a farm and have a sheep and a cow and breed horses (with other horses, not with the sheep and the cow)
