Really hope they don’t nerf slicing into the ground this time around. It actually feels pretty balanced now
Edit: the side slide wire bug move only seems useful if you are using ammo with a far crit range (or doesn’t matter like sticky, etc) because otherwise it takes you so far that you get pushed outta crit range. Plus the jumpy one lets you fly across the zone to blast monsters square in the face with clusters, and that is just fantastic.

Slice is back Baby!!! Those were some pretty insane numbers you were hitting with. i want to see you come up with a sticky, slice build. Nice run but you DID do some Wyvern riding, i hardly noticed as i was blinded by all the crit numbers ...haha.

I'm so happy the slicing is good enough to cut tails again, unlike world where if I wanted a tail cut I either needed to switch to another weapon or find someone to do it for me. Well I mean it is in low rank, I'm not in high rank yet so.
It used be super op then they just nerfed it into the ground 😫
@@cuckooforcoconut2079 yeah I just want it to be able to cut tails that's all, I don't need it to be op. I just don't want to be forced to use another weapon if I don't want to. Getting help with tail cuts isn't to hard though I found people in world who would always help with that.

When do you decide to switch Pierce to Slicing and vice versa? Is there a visual cue you're looking for? Wondering what prompts the switch between the two.
Heard it's better to get Atk 4 + Crit boost 3 then get more atk if have any free space, before going for crit. This is because of the buff to atk boost.
*Slicing...* haven't heard that name for years
It’s not bad this time around- not as good as pre nerf World slice, but not as bad as post nerf... seems to actually be alright.

Slice is so good in rise. Doing a good portion of HR quests sub 4-5 with magnamalos lbg.

Which silkbind move would you recommend? I’m using the vault now since its fun but the one you’re using seems better for dps upkeep/evasion.

Pretty close to my build. I use Pukei gloves for spare shot 1 and run spare shot 2 for my talisman to total 3. I’ll have to try recoil 3. Been using only one with fair results.

I didn't know you can craft ammo in a fight using the radial menu! I kept going back to camp to restock!

Do you really need recoil down 3 to rapid fire pierce 2 and slashing with no recoil?
Also how come no WEX if you got critical boost? your only dealing 40% crit right?

I am hesitating between doing the rehnoplos+shell for pierce up 3, but I don't want to lose the spareshot that the ninja helm give you, any advice?
pierce up 3 is better just get lucky with charm i guess 🤭🥲
@@AngBata11 I got an recoil 2 charm and I have been able to craft a recoil jewel, but no spareshot 😢

HBG is not really good until endgame and even then I’m not hearing good things about it.

Theres currently only one good HBG and Spread 3 might just be the only ammo HBG beats LBG in. Even then its not by much and every single other ammo LBG has it beat.

Slicing ammo is the new sticky.
I like slicing but I run thru the 60 rounds even with spare shot and the monster still living.
I have a male character and can’t find the vest at the smithy. Is there a similar vest for male character or do I miss something else?
What are the exact specifics of the "Thunderous Talisman"? What skills does it have on it, and what skill criteria was chosen when it was melded?
That's just the rarity name of the talisman, he has aim boost +1 and reload speed +2
In terms of melding, it might be the random melding option. Not sure though.

it's a switch skill called "Fanning Maneuver". It also buffs your attack for a while but you need to replace "Fanning Vault" (jump skill) to use it.

You weren't wyvern riding you were piloting a big flappy. Very different things and you'll never get a pilot's license with that performance

@@AngBata11 That's already better than it was in IB. Pretty much every weapon that had decent slice reload, recoil, and clip size was trash with every other ammo type.

the title says no wyvern riding but you rode the wyvern. who do I believe now?
He means that he dosnt use other monster to attack it, to get some insane damage, you cannot avoid mounting the monster when he is wired since your all your attacks will mount it. I would still recommend to use other monster because of the high drop chance of materials when you get allot of hits in.
