      Kimberly Lunk I hate when some women do this man wasn’t even given a chance to be a father just because you break up with somebody that doesn’t mean you don’t tell them something like that especially with there was a life growing inside of you a baby she didn’t make by herself.
      this poor 70-year-old man wasn’t even given the choice to be a father she just immediately put the baby up for adoption even though she knew he was the father and if she doesn’t want to be a mother that’s perfectly fine but why did she deny him the chance of being a father she could’ve just gave the kid to him and signed over her rights.We don’t know if he would’ve refused or not because he was never given a choice. If she didn’t want to be a mother she could have signed the away her parental rights this father and son lost 50 years that they will never get back selfish. I’m so happy that there both still alive make new memories together.

People say, But, oh what a blessing that you at least got to meet him. Sure, it was, because I would have been brokenhearted if he had been gone before I found him. But if he hadn't been kept from me for years and years, I could have enjoyed time with him while he was well. Now I can only look forward to seeing him again in Heaven. It’s unrealistic to expect a kid you gave up to grow up and not want to know where they came from. So if you’re going to put a child up for adoption, even if it’s closed, don’t be surprised if 18, 25, 30 years later you get a call from them asking for information.

      @A Tangerine It´s not the fact that she gave him up for adoption that makes her repulsive. I can understand she had a fling, his father was hot when he was young. I can understand she got pregnant "by accident". I can even, sort of, understand why she gave him up for adoption. It´s disgusting that, even when he was a grownup, she refused to give him the information he had all the rights to.

    • @peteraschaffenburg1
      @peteraschaffenburg1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @A Tangerine It´s women like you wich made me decide to turn gay. "His birth mother chose to not to share any info with her birth son -- her right, her choice." That is zhe most stupid answer you could give. " her right, her choice", in my eyes would even be ok if she would have wanted an abortion. Not telling his dad she was pregnant in the first place was wrong already. Not telling him - as a grownup - about his father was vile. It´s hard not to call you names... Self-righteousness at it´s best.

    • @peteraschaffenburg1
      @peteraschaffenburg1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @A Tangerine "I made you turn gay," Ofcourse you thoroughly misunderstood. Wich could have been expected. You, personally, didn´t make me gay. Disgusting women like you did. You couldn´t... I wouldn´t let you anywhere near me. "Her body, her choices" Her choices have effects on other peoples lifes. How stupid can you be?

      You are right, I cannot understand how it was to have a baby out of wedlock in the 50's but I know what it's like to be deeply hurt by people and I wouldn't want to inflict hurt on someone else. She could have at least responded positively when the adult child asked.

    It was selfish of the woman for doing that to the child and his father. We church people say "what the enemy did for bad, God turn it around for the good". Now he has a large family and a dad that obviously cares. Wow. 😢😢

      Diedrie Gibbs I didn’t want to judge her at first because 50 years ago was a different time and maybe her parents forced her to give baby up for adoption, especially since they dated briefly and she lost complete contact. However her not wanting to meet her son and refusing to give him his dad’s info is downright vile. She’s a pos for that. Hope karma gets to her.

      It's very ignorant to call her selfish. This was a very young woman and you don't know her. They were different times.

    • @diedriegibbs6938
      @diedriegibbs6938 5 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      SlyDoll7 you're the ignorant individual. First of all the father has rights, he had the right to know he was having a child and he had the right to also decide what would be the outcome for that child. Lastly she's selfish because the child now man sought her out to ask who is his father and she refuse to answer his qeuestion and then hung up on him. You're welcome

    I met my dad in 2015 when I was 29....and 3 brothers and sisters I didn't know I had(all half siblings). We had a long hug too, and tears. We lived 2 hours apart all that time. He drove a logging truck, and had driven by my home many times. He said "There was a black lab that would lay out on the highway in the sun, and she wouldn't move for anything, just sat there wagging her tail, so I would honk at her". That was my dog, and I remember yelling at my dog to get off the road when I heard the truck horn

    The same thing happened with my husband. He matched as a parent to a girl on Ancestry.com. He was shocked and cried. We tried to connect with her but she was very aloof. Heartbreaking to never hold your child and never knowing they existed in the first place.

      I used Ancestry and 23andme. I received them as gifts from people who knew I wanted the health results. I had not considered that I was a frequent sperm donor throughout 6 years of college in multiple states. To say I have a lot of children is an understatement. To discover that all at once is very overwhelming, and there are probably many more who haven't done their own DNA testing. I just wanted to help others have children, knowing I didn't want any of my own. The consequences of DNA testing 40 years in the future wasn't a consideration back then.
