“Was that place…THE SUN” will forever be my favorite Chandler line 😅😅😅 that one and “why is your family Ross?” That he says to Monica when Ross is playing the bagpipes for their wedding xd I just love Chandler man!
When my mom doesn't answer the phone and I leave a message, I always say: "mother, darling. It's your daughter calling" It's such a simple line, but is delivered so well😂
When this aired, 2020 seemed so far away and now it's 4 years ago (soon 5). Crazy. I was 27 in 2020 btw! I love both these episodes but especially the birthday one. It's so relatable to have been planning something and wanting everything to be perfect but it doesn't go that way, and yet all that really matters is the people you're with and creating these memories with each other. E3 is also hilarious with Ross's spray tan (never been to one so I have no idea how it works) and Amanda played by the amazing Jennifer Coolidge. And I for one was glad that the Rachel and Joey thing didn't last longer. I think it worked in S8 when Joey had feelings for Rachel but from S9 it was just weird.
It's a good thing they ended the Rachel and joey storyline pretty quick into season 10. They just couldn't get past that friendship boundary. They had good chemistry as friends, nothing more really. It sucks for Joey because it was a one sided relationship of him falling for Rachel and she didn't feel the same. She obviously loves him but only as a friend, not as a romantic partner. There's a reason Ross and Rachel will probably always have the best chemistry in the show lol. Iykyk
Jennifer and Matt said they would only come back for a season 10 if their characters broke up. They both hated that storyline and had even tried to get it squashed but the producers had gone ahead with it. So when they wanted a 10th season Jennifer and Matt said ok but only if Rachel and Joey broke up also Jennifer would only come back if the season was not a full season as she had another project that she was going to be doing
12:33 thats why I couldn't buy into Rachel/Joey couple. They had a great chemistry but it was never romantic for me personally. Although I really liked when Joey initially fell for her, it was cute, interesting and actually deep
You really are my fave right now because you like every single episode of Friends, you love every character, and you didn’t take anything too seriously and just enjoy the comedy.
Oh I've been waiting forever to say this about Rachel and Joey but... In my personal opinion, Joey's unrequited love for Rachel was great. Wonderful character developement. The second it became requited though... story-wise, was a bit of a miss for me. So I was kind of relieved it ended.
The fact that Rachel went as far as slapping his hand and his face at the same time to Joey is just hilarious.😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Plus Joey cannot unhook her bra .😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣
Like how Chandler and Monica make fun of Ross when he gets half burn of a tan and how he counts to ten then afterwards Rachel does the same thing to him 😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣😂🤣😂
Funny story in relation to the tan episode: when I was a high school sophomore, my (majority white) school brilliantly decided to do The King and I as the fall musical. And most of the kids in the play had to get spray-on tans for their roles. My brother (who has more melanin) was exempt and we had seen the tan episode, so it was cringe and amusing to watch the makeup department figure out how it worked and then apply it to the rest of the cast. They found out the hard way that the spray gets darker over time, so the poor girl who went first came to school the next day looking very orange
Rachel-Joey is so interesting because their friends chemistry is off the charts but as a couple is nowhere to be found. The writers clearly noticed. Maybe they really are too good friends.
Although I loved Rachel and Joey, I like the way things continue from here and I LOVE the last episode and yes I cry everytime time after “the phone call”.. no spoilers.
Consider reacting to my recommendations, you won't regret it. These lesser known titles are gems: 1. The Cable Guy (Jim Carrey weird thriller) 2. The Nightingale (tragic epic story) 3. Robocop 2 (much better than first) 4. Smile 2 (much scarier) 5. Tumbbad (Indian best horror)
I wish they'd leaned into Rachel and Joey when it first came up. It worked for me back then, but it didn't work for me this time, and it's hard to put my finger on why. I do think Rachel's history of feeling weird in the shift from friends to lovers is in character and isn't necessarily indicative of the two of them fitting--remember she couldn't stop laughing and got uncomfortable with Ross on their first date too.
i think it's because it's not supposed to work. the writers knew they couldn't make them end game when rachel and ross was a whole thing so they never tried to. tbh i think if they actually gave it a real chance in a different storyline rachel and joey could've been a way better couple than ross and rachel ever were, they have way more in common and would be a much healthier couple
Yeah they never had any romantic chemistry in my opinion. I could forgive Joey catching feelings and her not reciprocating the first time but her catching feelings for him later on just seemed like lazy and repetitive writing.
Any day now Emma is going to bail on her wedding to her Barry and she and Ben are going to form their own group of 6 20-somethings and sit around in their local Starbucks.
One of my unpopular opinions about this show is that Rachel and Joey should've actually gotten together. I think it would've been a great curveball, but I also like how their attempt at a relationship ultimately ended. Overall, I just think they were a better pairing than Ross and Rachel ever were
You certainly didn't watch or understand the proposal of Friends, Rachel, Joey and Ross. Rachel was born for Ross and she was too mature for Joey. Even she wasn't so immature at the beginning to stay with Joey.
Jennifer and Matt said they would only come back for a season 20 if there characters broke up they both hated that storyline and even gone to the producers to get them to not do it.
All 6 of the main actors did a great job in friends but David Schwimmer potrayal of Ross is just otherworldly
@@rahulchakraborty1889 David's acting was all the time. No words. Just his facial expressions are already joyful. 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
So real, he is so good!!
So the girl who was Baby Emma in this scene, on 2020 tweeted saying "oh that was a good nap" referencing this episode.
That’s so cool haha
just yet realized im her age i was a baby when the episode aired thats so weird somehow

I love him too
My favorite Chandler line was always "So how many cameras are actually on you?"
RIP, Matthew Perry, 😢
I’m so mad at him that he cut that part. It’s like one of the best lines of the show 😭
for me is "join me, wont you?" xx
I just love the storyline of Ross trying to get a tan! XD
It’s the funniest Greek tragedy I’ve ever seen
@@nickreacts6394 It sure is! XD

hahahaha that's hilarious!!! I'd be so proud if my kid did that
Omg I just realized I do this with my mom too, but not just on voicemail lol just for fun. Wonder if this is where I got it from lmao
I’m so happy the Joey & Rachel thing was squashed after 3 episodes, most fans hated it as much as the actors that did it.
Jennifer Coolidge is a gift. Whether she's had any professional dance training or not. Peace, all 💕
I love the behind the scenes with her and Lisa Kudrow laughing her lungs off. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

9:09 Jennifer Coolige was Paulette in the Legally Blonde movies.
The bloopers for the first episode are so funny. When you’re done with the whole show you should do a reaction to the bloopers from every season.
Ross still making his crazy decisions.😂😂😂😂
David Shcwimmer did a such a great job making Ross likeable.❤

So... How I Met Your Mother as your next sitcom? - Thoroughly enjoying your reactions to Friends. :)
Jennifer Coolidge is everything in that episode. 😂
17:59 Funnily enough, both of the actors who played Ross and Monica's parents are still alive today.
The amanda plot is so over the top I love it

Jennifer Coolidge ...
Jennifer Coolidge played as Stifflers mom on the American Pie movie
Jennifer Coolidge recently recieved an award for her role in White Lotus
I would love a "Friends" show center on Ben and Emma now all grown up
How could you forget Stifler’s mom? Lol. She also played Paulette in Legally Blonde.
