This would be awesome for a vacation house with a bunch of people, but for an everyday home, it's not cozy. I wouldn't complain if I owned it, but I wouldn't need something this incredibly large.

Totally agree. The whole house needs to be gutted. I would start with the cave and expand the garage. The basketball court would also be eliminated. The guard shack also a tear down.
Perfect house to enjoy the nice surrounding nature, that you're destroying with your own lifestyle

Isn't it weird how so many super expensive mansions are so stale and impersonal? I won't ever live in a place like that, but i'm guessing it would be more like living in an empty hotel than a home.
I mean that's also because often it's just "grab keys and move in" without needing to do anything. so it's not like you can't personalize it after the fact. either it'd be personalised before you move in, or after. or not if you like the boutique hotel style setting
What I find really weird is how these places are built in such a way that you never have to leave the house. Everything is there, from the massage room to the barber shop. The point of that would be to have privacy, but this kind of house requires so much staff to keep it running that you're constantly crowded in your own home. Might as well just go somewhere else for a day out instead.
They clearly get a lot of inspiration from hotels in any case. I'd like it for vacation but not to live there
I mean whoever buys these houses will obviously personalise it, they have to keep it basic when touring so no one will be turned off

Dude describes the view of the backyard from the balcony as "priceless" when the $43m price tag is literally in the video description. It just reinforce the idea that rich people are out of touch with reality... because your loved ones are meant to be described as priceless, not a decent view of an artificially landscaped yard.
All I'm seeing is a $43 million mansion surrounded by homes that cost 5-10x times less, and lack of privacy. I really want to know what the builder/seller and the buyer was thinking on this one.

But it is missing some key features, surprisingly!

I feel like no ones said anything about this literally being made for basketball players - or at least I think thats what the guy wants. The basketball court, the sport simulator, he very explicitly said "the ceilings are always high ceilings, and the doors are a minimum of 9 feet high. Just in case....you have a REALLY, 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺, tall buyer - they appreciate that 😏". He seems like the guy who wanted to become a pro athlete, then failed, so now he's channeling that dream elsewhere - and thats apparently through designing houses.
