well, 2 small questions why arent you using the companion collection way, is it because you dont have it or what, also why the thumnail has hl2 ep1 on it instead of just hl2
Wow I just noticed my mistake with the episode 1 thing I'll change it in a bit lol, and what do you mean about the companion collection? The companion collection on Switch doesn't include any Half Life game.
@@SuperMacro64 you can mod the companion collection to work with hl2, someone already has done it, and i wouldnt be surprized if it would be as easy as puttin all some missing stuff in, because p1 has all the stuff needed for hl2, other than scenes i guess, scenes just make characters talk in short
Also I researched the mod you were talking about and it's actually really bad lol, It constantly crashes, some maps are impossible to progress through, NPC animations are bugged, saves don’t work, and world cameras are placed at the wrong coordinates. This is the definitive way to play Half Life 2 on the Switch atm it seems.
@@faustoneitor1 no I didn't make it nor did I compile an engine for the Switch I merely loaded Android OS on my Switch and then used a community made mod for the source engine that was ported to Android, supplied my own Half Life 2 files in the OBB folder and viola. 🪄🎩🔮 chefs kiss
@@CanManOverLan Yeah I just connected Joy Cons over bluetooth and I think they translate into xinput on Android like an Xbox controller. No need to assign controls though they will work upon launch.
Hell no, there's absolutely no need I don't run unofficial Switch OS I just boot into Android on the same card I run Switch normally legally untouched. AutoRCM sucks ass you can't even turn the console on without an RCM loader once it's battery has died so fuck that noise.
i forgot that lineageos runs on the switch and makes sense to lmfao, tripped me out seeing the logo on a switch instead of a phone
dayum i finally found a reason to jail break my switch

@@grubasekpl9254 oh OK noted that makes sense but I had no idea thanks for informing me I'll try and access that

@@SuperMacro64 how did you get the controllers to work did it just register as a nintendo controller or somn or like an xbox controller
Oh, I forgot to mention I've gotten the original Half Life running on Switch 60fps.

@@SuperMacro64 That is very very nice still, haven't seen another HL2 set up like this, I'll give it a try on mine.
I recommend you autorcm
