Glad I finally found a youtuber that sticks to their own opinions about apex. It seems like everyone these days just mindlessly follows the meta and makes basically the same tier list as all the other creators each season because they don't want to get hated on.
Ash I will say cap that she’s underwhelming. She can keep the momentum going cuz she’s basically a recon type with spotting fresh death boxes on the entire map, can track a team for a whole minute with the correct perk. Shes great for breaking the enemy formation. Snare, then arc star, then ash ult that enemy that may be separated with speed and precision. She’s the only one with an ability to hinder movement legends such as snaring horizon lifts, snaring the jump pads, pathfinders when grappling, snaring Newcastle when in placing ult wall animation, snaring enemies on ziplines, evac towers, and gravity cannons (horizons ult only slows but doesn’t completely stop them in their tracks). With that being said about SLOWING the enemy down with the tactical, why not utilize the FASTEST movement ult to close that distance? I believe that’s how she’s meant to be used, high risk high reward to give that advantage quick
Valk is a very skill reliant Legend. Her Jet Pack can get you in or out of fights easily, but get you lasered as well. Her Tactical is one of my favorite abilities in the game, especially combined when playing ranked with my friend, who plays Ash, or carries a few granades. Her Tactical is more like a combo ability, which either slows enemies for nate spams, or hits already stunned enemies. Her Ult still goes higher than Towers, but Respawn basically did everything to destroy her Ult with nerfs and the Jump Towers. Anyways, compared to other legends, I still have the most success with her in ranked.
Amazing tier list & video (as expected). Always admire the amount of effort and unique commentary you add to your tier lists unlike some other creators. THE GOAT ❤
good list but id swap rampart and bloodhound. rampart is fundamentally misunderstood by most players, she REQUIRES good movement like octane. if you can't do the rampart movement techs then yeah she's like low c-tier, but if you are supergliding off of her walls, and are using b-hops to negate sheila's movement penalty then she's insanely lethal. she also still has all her defensive capabilities on top of that fragging power. as for blood, im not gonna sugarcoat it. bloodhound is absolutely awful right now, and there is 0 reason to play them over the other recon legends. they offer the least amount of information, their ult is kind of ass now, and bloodhound just really offers nothing unique or viable. like valk, they're just a comfort legend for some people.
what i like about valk is that unlike with evac towers the enemy can’t really follow your team, the ult is also higher than the evac and the scan is nice. passive is nice but situational, like in some scenarios you can quickly reposition and heal, the tactical is just utterly useless though. like it’s also situational but just very non-threatening. you’d have to be behind cover and on very low hp in order for it to have any real effect.
I respect your take. my whole thing is if Valk gets shot during the setup animation or if Valk is shot out during launch, it's chalked and nobody makes it. at least with evac towers, odds are somebody makes it. or you can mitigate risk by launching two evacs at once.
@@rydollazyeah that part kinda requires communication, so like telling your team to follow you somewhere so you can launch safely, which is not always possible with enemies around or just uncooperative teammates. i mainly like the ult on broken moon or storm point, specifically if the third ring is closing in and it’s pretty apparent that we’re gonna get sandwiched between the zone and the mountains. valk is very viable in those situations and gets your team a second chance if you positioned poorly.
@@rydollaz the dude gets a free kitted gun at the start of the game and a gold one every time he uses his ult,an automatic 1v1 winner if you know how to play that can be upgraded to be a 1v2 winner even stronger with the gold lootbins that gives you a gold helmet.you could say"the golden gun is useless in endgame" yes it is but you still get faster movements and reloads i think that people snob him cuz you need a little skill to land the whistler but as i said it better stay this way

Ash doesn’t need a rework she just needs a buff as follows; Arc snare - 3m teather for 5s (not 5m for 3s) Needs to stun - Valk, Maggie, Fuse and Bangs ults all do damage AND stun making them OP. Ash’s does absolutely nothing. People can move at full speed with perfect accuracy. Phase - Still riddled with bugs: Fix it! Passive is great but I think a 10 meter red trail of where the killer is going would be good.
Nah Seer is still bad. I think Seer was op at the beginning but nerfing to the bottom was a mistake. His old passive didn't need any nerf, like 50m seemed strong, but that 15m or 20m is too short. His tactical has small range in my opinion, in a game like Apex where you have to move almost every time and most of the fights starts from long range he must have a little longer of that. His ult is fine, but pro players / try hards simply just don't give a f bout it and still rushing thru and kill players.
as someone who has mained crypto since i started playing back in s12, S tier has been something i have been praying for every season and gave up hoping in s19 when i took a break... might pick apex back up at this
I feel like a great mirage buff/rework would be to make it so his kit revolves around being invisible rather than making decoys. It would add a whole new level of outplays, and they would still be able to keep his personality because he would still revolve around tricking people.
Honestly I loved this entire video and all the takes … when you got to lifeline I was sad we couldn’t hear more compared to the others but being a lifeline main since the game came out I can say she’s always been insane no matter what … shields are always at the ready with a sucky ult but also keeping your team topped off with health is insane as well . She’s hard to hit and in a clutch scenario a lifeline tethered to her drone healing and fighting with time ticking before my team is back up and fighting is almost unstoppable … learning how to play her is crazy but all your kills feel rewarding because you have no damage passives or abilities … with her new rework coming I don’t see why she won’t rise to the top with the drone being able to move as well as a deployable force field

I love the heath bar it’s less thinking and better planning to rush a team. When you’re a solo player it helps when your randoms can see what’s going on
yeah I agree with that and there are def positives. I just feel it changes the dynamics of the game more than what was intended and might make things a little too straightforward/easy 🤷🏻♂️
Nice video, and also overall very good takes on the characters. First person I see that puts Ballistic that high, he is one of my favorite legends to use. Adding on top of what you already said on the video, I also think that the fact that you can always have a fully equipped weapon on landing due to sling is kinda op, and if you put directly the mozambique or p2020 on sling it automatically goes akimbo with attachments, even having them with hammerpoints if you have purple evo armor.
I've looked at a lot of different tier lists, and I'll say that this one is the most close to the truth. You actually played the characters and realized which ones are bad and which ones aren't, and didn't just slap a popular opinion. My first and only main character is Crypto, who do you think I should play next, Seer or Newcastle? I like both in terms of design and gameplay.

Shes the best controller legend right now, especially on E-District to be able to hold the choke points.
@@mxvn5860 All controller legends right now are easy A/S tier legends. The only thing that makes Wattson good is her ult, her tactical and passives are mediocre. Ramparts passive with the already existing LMG meta makes a deadly combo, Her tactical can block doors, hold choke points, provide cover for open areas/revives. The only thing of her kit that sucks is her ult which is really only used against people playing doors. Wattson is good for poke metas like this one is becoming, while Rampart is better for holding areas and buildings in endgame or to prepare for endgame. While saying shes the best is bit of an exaggeration, she does not deserve a D/B tier. It really depends on the map and legend team comp, Broken moon and E-District are probably the best maps for Rampart, and Valk, Bangalore, Newcastle, and especially Catalyst work really well with Rampart.

I have 24k on him and the health bar made his ult useless. Only way to counter it is to pop ult prior to a fight and taking damage and hope they don’t hit the real you.
