Marlin touched on faster retrieve. You hear that Great Lakers? I been tryin to tell you kids the baitcaster is a better tool than the pin. Faster retrieves means more drifts which means more fish which means glory!!!!!!! My hands appreciate the switch. Not holding that pin in the winter months is key to an old man’s survival! Tight lines Addicts❤
FYI, Summer run steelhead spawn at the same time as winter run steelhead also the Lured beads are pretty much the best beads I have used. Randy has a special talent for making great beads.
It’s Harmsen time. Love it! Hope he trimmed his tag ends. Thanks this helped out a lot. Fished a rising river today. Missed one on that worm today but w/a black jig head. Broke my lami infinity doing the same thing on a tanker coho in October :-( first one I’ve broke ever. Loved the video. Keep up the good work boys! C’mon Harmsen or you can use the catch zone app! Dave and popov set it up for you for everything to be in one place! 😀
Ya hard call on late summer or early winter steelhead. They stay bright into Idaho on some videos I've seen. I think the Trask and probably others have different clipping methods to I.D. them?? Great Episode Guys!! Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎🎸🤟🏼
Great content like usual, hit my local north oregon coast river around 11 late and our rivers are almost blown, hooked a giant steelhead right off the shore line in a soft pocket in bright reds and hooked a toad steelhead but as soon as it got in high water flow it was gone! Be safe" no fish is worth dieing for " tight lines 🤙
11:35 we've all done it. I've broken a gsp, 2 G loomis e6x float rods, and a lamiglas certified pro (this was a pre 2016 lamiglas as well) because of high sticking. 3 different manufacturers, same end result.
What size hooks(barbless where I fish) are recommended for artificial worm fishing ? Or do you use the weighted jig head for worms always? also what bait casting rod y’all using ? (Preferably cork handle)
@@kierensarkela2716 if you know you know. 99% of the time its not a good hole. If you don’t fish it during the right season, conditions, water levels, etc. You won’t catch anything. This river is tough. It doesn’t have a lot of fish, which is why it doesn’t have a lot of anglers ever on it. No hatchery fish, depleted wild runs, not great fishing. But sometimes it’s close, conditions are right, & it’s fun to fish somewhere you’ve been fishing for 20+ years even though you might not catch anything.
@@AddictedFishing you say its fun to fish somewhere you been fishing 20+ years and not many people fish there which is true, but theres people that enjoy fishin that stretch of river too. Jus saying have some decency for other anglers. Some people get off work and can only hit that river cause its local and cant drive 2hrs to that river in Oregon that starts with a W🤣
I remember when that river was beyond fantastic for Steelies, Cohos etc.. in the winter. 1970's into the 80's and then mis-management and a Stordahl destroyed a always top 4 stream in this state. Glad I remember those days

Lmfao I guess ya didn't hear him all that force high sticking will break any rod from cheapo ugly sticks to gloomis I've had many lamiglas and never broke one 🤷♂️
Fished uglysticks my whole life (not the only brand I fish) but NEVER ONCE have I ever broken an ugly stick and I’ve put it through some hell 😅 you guys must really be trying or doing something wrong if you’re breaking them that easy
Look's like another shater glass down, and marlin getting out fished with a single bead again.. once you go to one handed fishing with your strong hand holding the rod you'll never go back
Man, I was going to pause the video to say at least Jason fishes good rods, then he has to go and do that shit. Making me look stupid man 🥲 still. #TeamLamiglas #LamiglasRods #CloserGang
Thanks for the video guys 🤙looking forward to the winter bash coming up at Gresham Toyota🤘
What is the one at Gresham Toyota? See they have the sportsman’s show?
Y’all are 15 minutes from my house on this one… caught some really nice late run coho there this time of year as well. Good stuff. Cheers

Wise words by Jedi Jason about giving yourself the best chance at fishing success. 🤙
Marlin shoreline giveaways are the best🎉
Great tips on rising waters! Also enjoyed the singing at the end

Like your show like for you guys to tell us what rivers you’re on in Oregon
That’s what i call a fall run, more so a late summer then an early winter
Fish are on the move when rivers are on the rise.
Tip Wrap! 😆
What baitcaster do you guys recommend
The master
Hey Jordan it’s Jesse I met you at the bar in October around then how you doing man? Love the content yall produce yall inspire me to keep going
Hit it!
Marlin, how do you like that Grundens jacket?
It’s been a great jacket for me so far. Ive had it about 9 months, no issues yet. - Marlin
Take me with yall! 😢

Thats why they call them LamiSNAP
Would love to go fishing with you Marlin
Late summer
Might try an ugly stick! Caught trout, coho, steel head, salmon, shark, barracuda on $29.00 ugly stick. Never broke a ugly stick 🎣

U guys fished some classic drift fishing spots
🎊 letss gooo
Jason is standing right where they lay. I lost one about 2 miles up river from here a week ago.
What reel was jason using?
Summer steelhead will hold in the saltwater until river water is colder temperatures.
What’s the best river you recommend for this fishing in the PNW?
Posting the bridge in the background after talking about how good the hole is is pretty wild ngl

If your fishing a rising river and need to move, next spot is upstream or downstream ideally?
Upstream

I get tip wrap all the time. Looking forward to trying that tip out! Thanks for that choice nug
Glad to hear it! Tip wrap can be a real pain.

20mm beads do you drop from a 2/0 hook or drop to a 1/0 hook I'm bobber dogging
Is that a Curado DC or Curado 200k?

I need that wood grain sticker I'll put it on my tree truck

You broke a rod what kind of rod is it
No way you don't have the right rod I've got 20 pounders never never even come close to break anything
I was steelhead fishing way before you were born

Your hook needs to be closer to the bead

Your beads way too big
