I feel like people don’t understand the concept of design or even art itself. The same reason some of you think it looks “trash” is one of the reasons it’s so popular; it’s unique. You can’t expect everything to look perfect. How do you think most designers and/or artists gain such popularity? For exploring a different style. Just look at the other high-end brands such as: Gucci, LV, Balenciaga etc. Yeah some of their stuff may look like ass but that’s what makes them stand out. If everyone stuck to the same style just because it’s “nice” then there would be no evolution within the design industry.
Off-white is a perfect example of a business utilizing scarcity and price exclusivity for rapid growth. Supreme and even Yeezy brand are working these same tactics.
Everybody who buys this knows it's over priced, i know its over priced, the reason i buy over priced shit is because i know most people cant. When you buy that 60$ Adidas hoodie you will come across other people wearing it making it not unique. I have never seen another person wearing the same off white.

Recently sold every thing as i've been getting more interested in Belgium designers and more avant-garde stuff. I dont recommend the brand but if you like flashy stuff and sort of want to be apart of the hypebeast movement i guess its perfect.

when is Issey Miyake or Ermenegildo Zegna getting a feature at least they know fashion, off-white is too in your face with all its logos, didn't alux do a video on 'fake rich' this brand if anything is taking off because people follow trends and don't think of longevity when it comes to their appearance so imagine wearing off-white to your first job interview vs a Calvin Kein tailored suit, this can simply be reduced to off-white lining their pockets because of people wanting a facade of wealth among thier friends and acquaintances.
