There are some good ones in WA; the owner might have Karen'd their way through them though. If I was still into cars (and still living in WA) it would have gone to Group 2 Motorsports, as my M3 and Evo IX did. I prefer two wheeled Italians now though.

Yeah ninja I agree with your impression of the Z8. When it was first released i felt BMW finally made a car as beautiful as the E9. Lots of other BMW’s are beautiful cars, however the timeless lines of the z8 and e9 are automotive perfection

I remember seeing the Z8 for the first time in the movie theater watching The World is Not Enough and it was the most beautiful car I had ever seen and today its still a work of art.
The Z8 when reviewed my motor journals used to say that it was too expensive for its performance. Hence BMW only sold a few. And as a result will be an expensive classic car in the future.

Just wow! The BMW Z8 is my absolute most favorite car in this lifetime. Close runner-ups are the 507 and a 57 Thunderbird ( those porthole windows!). Love this video post. I couldn't help but notice your care and professionalism as you worked on this car. I can see why you're getting customers shipping their cars to you from across the country. Local indy shops should watch and learn! 👍
Seeing Jonny scratch his head a little makes me feel better about dealing with my BMW. The big difference is he's just recalling previous adventures whereas I'm just a novice, mostly. Since I can't comment on the new LED light vid, I'll comment here. Great job Jon! LED's are especially nice in uninsulated garages where fluorescent lights can be a bit dimmer than usual in the winter. I also learned a new trick, using the screwdriver to install the screw eyes. In hindsight it's so obvious, but I never thought of doing that, I always used a crescent wrench.

Friend of mine has one and i had to source the rear tail light for him about 7yrs ago. Even then the OEM assembly which is neon was extremely difficult to get a hold of. I can't imagine there would be any left globally by now.

@@marsh8250 except the guy paid to have it shipped there. If I were Johnny I would tell the customer about the new looking ( non BMW ) gaskets leaking and see if they wanted me to replace the other side too to prevent that one from leaking in the soon future. If it were a local owner, I agree.

There is a point where the word "ridiculous" has to be substituted with "moronic". This BMW Z8, no matter how pretty, is the reason why I will never, ever purchase another Broke My Wallet product. To replace a valve cover gasket, front wheel has to be removed so the wheel well cover can be pulled away to remove the last bolt holding the headlight , so one bolt can be accessed on the way to continue with the process.
Are you guys able to register batteries and BMWs with your autel scanners pretty sure that's what you were using right I'm trying to register a battery in a 2008 BMW e92 328i and I was wondering if it could be done so I can have my mechanic to do it

18k miles at 22 years old...any car would have some leaks
Judging by the no km and how old it is the car was never driven seals dry up anyone with car knowledge knows this it isn't something new
Not a BMW problem. With such low miles, the seals are all dried out. It probably leaks like a sieve. The secret to keep it from leaking is to drive it
