That's some outstanding footage, indeed! Getting all five watering up at once was great, and a really nice 'pay-off' in the cinematic sense. It reminded me of the 'swarms' of Piper PA-25's that would tend to the blueberry fields behind my housing development when I was a young teen. Same vibe, very awesome sight. Thanks!
Thanks so much, it was a nice surprise to see these flying right around my neighbourhood. That must have been fun to see the crop spraying while growing up, this pilots must have some fun.
I love watching these little Air Tractor's, they are so cool looking and look like little cartoon airplanes. I unfortunatly have never caught one on video. Great work Jesse 👍😎
I live close by a lake that the air bosses and the Canadian air use to scoop water in our county. It always amazes me. The talent the pilots have to do what they do.
What an amazing footage!😍 I've never seen an Air Tractor in person!😅 But it's sad to know that they are so needed over there because of all the forest fires...😔 Thumbs up my friend😉
Nice videos! There sure are a lot of those aircraft in action! The shots look pretty cool with them all flying off in the same direction. We actually have a lot of Air Tractor's over here in New Zealand used for crop dusting, very versatile aircraft!
Funny thing is that we had the CL215Ts in town last year and the AT-802s came in and they were more effective than the 215s bc they can just keep going and they can hit more direct than the 215s
AT-802 Fire Boss, Tiene muchos problemas con las olas tanto golpeteo queda todo desarmado es un problema que no ampodido solucionar, Para mi es mejor el CL-415 Saludos.
@@patricioherrerao.9311we only use them when the waters are calm as there were operating on fresh water and not on the ocean it makes sense that they would not be as good with the big waves but in a small town like Nelson where we have very calm water it makes tons of sense to use them Canada also operates the canadair family and they are widely used by every province in Canada. Conair has a big fleet of them which works well for rapid response to major fires
You don’t see CL415’s in the BC interior do you? Your response is not well researched based on the region this video is taken. An amphibian 802 is another means for the job that works quite well there.
@@FireBosspilot actually I live in Nelson where this video was taken I know Jesse and I know most of the pilots who flew that day bc they all texted me saying that they will be in town and the 215Ts were just in before the AT802s they came in to help suppress the fire while the 215s went and refueled in castlegar (CYCG)

Awesome camera stabilization going on here, I had a chance to shoot this kind of activity. No gimbal ! Just hand held. I don't know what camera you're using, mine is a GH4 LUMIX, I have a setting that allows me to set the shutter angle. So I have my shutter angle set at 180 degreased, at 24fps And I get a Natural Prop motion . Next time I'll try shooting at 30fps and run it in 24fps in post. Maybe add a gimbal on a tripod. th-cam.com/video/BvQE0ZLLQ7c/w-d-xo.html
I just watched your full video and it was awesome, really great quality footage. Love those close-up views and the fire looked really threatening. I shot mine with the Panasonic VX870, all handheld too. Starting to look for a new camera now but not sure which one to get.
@TheHDAviation Awesome job keeping your footage stable. I think I need more practice. Next opportunity I'm going to work hard at getting the shot. I'm thinking these pilots and companies would love to get some video of themselves doing their job.
Holy cow that's awesome- what a great capture! Float plane, check. Turbine powered float plane- oh heck yes. Multiple turbine powered float planes- I'm in heaven.
Beautiful record, the airtractor with beautiful sounds from the pt6 5 blades and the effect of water on the floats
Thanks so much, these awesome little aircraft were a lot of fun to see in action!
Nice footage of the Air Tractors, they are also quite active here during the summer.
Wow, what a fantastic close up report of the Fire Boss, Jesse 😍👍👍
Thanks so much Volker, these impressive little fire fighters were fun to see!
these things are way bigger in person than you would think, the cameras make them look itty bitty
So true, they are an impressive size in person!
as a fresh CPL holder flying fire bosses is my dream job. im so-so about shiny jets, love your channel!
Congratulations! Fantastic! Spectacular! Sensacional! Beautiful! Tanks for the vídeo guy!
Thanks so much for watching!

Awesome video! Those three look so cool! Sad to hear the wildfire’s still going on…
fabulous 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for watching!

Beautiful shots - thank you!
Thanks so much for watching!
These are so cool and important! Awesome catch!
That beautyful! Great. Nice job. Footage and pilot work are amazing.
Absolutely spectacular catch my friend!
Fantastic plane spotting video 😀 Greetings from Japan 😀
This is so awesome! I Love these planes! The pilots truly are amazing. Nice work.
These were really cool to see in action, I love them as well. Thanks for watching!

Beautiful video man!
Conair has a cool fleet of aircraft.
That's some amazing piloting skills!
I can watch these guys all day 🤩🤩
top notch stuff again Jesse!! 🤩🤩
Thanks so much Hans! These ones were so cool to get to see, definitely a treat 😃
@@TheHDAviation - and it’s crazy to think that it now has a ground attack / close air support version that looks like a modernized Ju-87 Stuka 😳😱
the minimum amount of hours required to do this is between 3-5 thousand flight hours definitely not as easy as it looks
No, this type of flying definitely takes a lot of skill, experience and courage.
@TheHDAviation like i said 3-5 thousand hours is what most flight groups require
Nobody likes a “know it all”.
Wasn't there an accident recently caused by sloshing?
@jkclassy3643 yes i think it was due to a faulty baffle in the tanks
Wow! Awesome catch! It must be super rare!
due to increasing forest fires we'll likely see more each year, i see them every Summer in WA state
Nice plane. That looks similar to Dusty Crophopper from Planes: Fire & Rescue (2014).
That’s bc dusty is based on the AT-802AF (Aerial firefighting). Air tractor makes crop dusters and aerial firefighting planes
Marvellous video my friend 😊👍
Thanks a lot!
Love Air tractor ...
the best bang for the buck
amazing, i love your angles, cool video!
Nice and great catch mate. Thumb up!
Los flotadores que tiene, son para juntar agua!! Si . Pero si tiene un desperfecto, cargando y se detiene en el lago!! Pregunto flotara o se hundira??
Amazing!!!,great video!!A ton of respect for those talented pilots/firefighters.Great work on the video, excellent stuff!!🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
WOW, that's awesome. It looks great to see these planes in action, sad under the circumstances, though, great footage
It was a small fire and was contained quite quickly as what I was told by the bird dog pilot who I was chatting to the that same day
I love to go get train to do something like this in these Air tractor
I bet they'd be a ton of fun to fly, it would definitely be exciting!
We need to buy a fleet of ShinMaywa US-2 from Japan and convert them into water bombers too.
That would be really cool, the ShinMaywa US-2 looks like it would be the perfect platform for a water bomber.
wow great video capture, angles and panning 👍🏻
Fantastic catches mate.
Love the look of those amphibian Air Tractor.
How much water can they carry?
800 gallons.
@@FireBosspilot thanks.
This is amazing 👏 Beautiful video ❤
Really impressive birds and very amazing video. Huge like
Coming due to huge actually fire?
Hope not
Stunning Video liked
Which camera are you using, the stabilization is fantastic!
I filmed this with the Panasonic VX870.
Nuts using the gear as your speed brake - Hey , what could go wrong …. Ooopps ! 😅

Like a flock of birds heading south for the winter.. over... and over... and over again.
Are they leaking water all the way to the site?
How are those even effective? That's like pissin' on a bonfire!
