"It was cancelled because it was bad" Is a bit of a myth I think people think due to how the show is viewed today, at the time ratings were fine and it wasn't unpopular. It was the lack of figure sales which did it in, a fate other shows suffered from.

The Drill Man figure's head drill does spin, though most figures that people had at the time, it didn't due to the way it was produced. The one I have does. There was going to be a series 3 but was scrapped when the show was cancelled. Still with all the Mega Man figures out today, there is still barely any for the robot masters. But glad I have my Block Man on display.

I feel your pain man, I remember I only had MegaMan and guts man as a kid too.. sucks that one day I lost MegaMan for awhile and when my Mom took me to an old service merchandise store.. I saw Protoman, Rush Cutman and Bombman.. wanted to buy them but stupidly chose to give up on the set.. then after 6 months, found Mega and series 2 came out.. mind you I was only 10.. and the parents old saying “you can only get one”.. I got the bad luck of a NO.. then when I got the green light, the figs got pulled off the shelf.. smfh.. the show I thought was good.. but yes the bots were too muscular. Cutman and gutsman were too overexposed and Proto should’ve been a tweener.. that way in a perfect world Bass could’ve been Introduced in season 3.. YES if the producers, consumers and powers that he wouldn’t have hated!! In another perfect world.. (just my imagination) Series 3 would’ve saw: Pharaoh Man, Crystal Man, Air Man, Wood man, Top Man & Heat Man.. then series 4 would’ve had: Gyroman, bubbleman, Gravity man, Skull Man, Magnet Man and FINALLY Iceman (was pissed he only had a pvc 2in) Note: just my thoughts.. sadly not real along with a visual distant future DREAM release of a Bass and Crusher (aka upgraded Gutsman)
I have these Mega Man figures as well, I was lucky and bought them when they first came out. elecman is the only one that I'm missing. At least online snake-man and bright man's Buster does come off. My drill man's drill on his head does turn but it's definitely hard to do. I was never able to find electman. I'd always turn the rocket onrush upside down so it look like the rocket for closer to his feet. And I'd always stick Proto man's or Mega Man's blast, basically in his ass to make it look like a jet effect. On my drill man the drill hardly wants to stay inside his left launcher it is very loose
