24 hours with a newborn as a single and first time mom (my realistic journey in postpartum) 👧🏻👩🏻

- Hi! I can't believe it's already been three weeks since Erin has been born. I have thought long and hard of how and what I want to share following my pregnancy journey videos. Lately, with my postpartum journey, I have been hit with crippling anxiety over Erin.
The last 10 months, I thought long and hard about how I can contribute to the single mom narrative painted in today's society to shed a positive and optimistic outlook on our motherhoods. But, I am grappling on exposing my daughter, not to the kind community of women, men and every type of parent in between but to the predators lurking online.
As someone who dealt with sexual abuse and assault at multiple points in my life, I never want to expose my daughter to that form of trauma or contribute in placing her in compromising positions. She is her own person, and at that she is an infant and extremely vulnerable to predators online and in real life. I am aiming to tread lightly when it comes to protecting her rights to privacy in the best way possible.
I do intend to continue creating video diaries of my own personal journey as her mother, but I don't plan on making being a mom or having a daughter a personality trait or a means to some type of online presence(exploitation of my daughter). My videos are still aimed to reach Erin in efforts to continue a time capsule for her to look back on one day. So you may still hear me directly reference her, but maybe not all videos will be this way int he future?
I really did mean it, when I stated lasted month that I want to make a difference in society. I hope that mom single mom diary videos will bring any and all single parents some form of solace when watching my journey with my own daughter. I hope to continue creating conversation on diverse topics in regards to motherhood, early to late 20's adulthood and navigating life through unconventional circumstances.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to read the description, I am working to find time in-between parenting this summer to edit more efficiently and sharpen my editing style but for me, I will continue to bring half hour to hour long forms of content for anyone to enjoy if they are willing to spare the time in hearing my story out :-)

Thank you so much! I’m going to be tapering back up from 1500 to about 2500 a day because the lack of sleep is concerning my neuro since it’s one of the main triggers for my seizures. I was also experiencing auras the weeks leading up to my due date so I just don’t want to take any extra risks considering it’s just me caring for Erin! Luckily, I don’t feel any additional drowsiness I top of feeling sleep deprived a bit. I’m optimistic, as long as my lesion doesn’t grow (which it hasn’t) I’m feeling confident I will stay on a good streak!!

Thank you bob! Everyday I go into the role of being a mom to Erin with an open/optimistic mind. I try my best to educate myself too on how I can improve on my parenting/mothering to her especially now since building a strong bond with her is the most important! Thank you for taking the time to watch a day with her and me! We appreciate it! 🫶

Hi Kmya!!! Thank you so much, I get frustrated with myself sometimes because I can take forever to edit or go through footage but I really want my mom diary vlogs to be intentional for whenever my daughter stumbles upon them in the future :-)
I am trying to figure out the grey are with my daughter and how +when I show her. Hopefully I can at least share my experiences with her growing up in a tasteful way.
