Everyone wants to get in to the same boat but just wondering how many actually will integrate without having those king queen thoughts, you behave be humble or your own actions will kick you out of the city or country
Question: when it comes to the savings requirements, can a roth or 401k be included in the total amount or is it just savings in a bank/brokerage account?
I'm retired, in Tucson, Arizona, planning to move to Lake Chapala area. So, with a Consulate-issued Visa I can apply for permanent residency once in Mexico?
@@BecomePerpetual Thanks for the response. This will be a 'one way' trip, as I do not intend to return to the United States, so do I have a choice as to which Visa?
@@jerrycallender9352I can’t give specific visa advice on TH-cam comments unfortunately, it’s free to book a call if you want help with specific questions.
@@teekaymee3124 Yes, it depends on the immigration center. Each center has different requirments and timeframes. If you previously visited Mexico between 2015 - 2022 I highly reccomened the other program as you get a 4 year residence permit right from the start and the process is much faster.
If you have not visited Mexico between ‘15-‘22 is there still a way to do this process? I don’t think my DIL visited during that time and it might be necessary for my adult kids to move down here.

That would depend on the consulate you would use.
Is it for any specific passport holders only ?? or all passport holders ??
There’s no nationality restrictions!

Thanks for the comment Jerry. It depends on the specific visa, the process is quite complex and requires some extra steps when in Mexico.

A quick question would there be any reason for delays with the 2nd part of temp res process?
Do you mean after getting your visa from the embassy and entering Mexico to exchange it for the residence permit?
@@BecomePerpetual when you do part 2 in Mexico, when exchanging the visa for the card.
