I watched the Rep. Stefanik grilling the Ivy league heads today, and was furious at their mealy mouthed side stepping replies. You don't play politics on campus, your there to teach, and do so at the Direction of the B.O.E. if it still exists, and government direction. At the end I had to agree with the Rep. they should all step down. No backbone at all. This is not how we were raised and taught not too long ago. A freshman could do a better job, and no I'm not a freshman, I'm 60. They need to go.

Had they directly & truthfully answered those questions, each of those college presidents would have returned home to their own students, profs, and administrators angrily protesting against THEM and their testimony before congress - and they knew that.
Despite these college presidents' absurd declarations their institutions welcome diverse ideas, these colleges have become bastions of Leftist ideology acceptance only & Israel hating.
Attitudes these completely disingenuous & despicable college presidents are fully aware of.

As an Australian I have had tbe privilege of being on workshops delivered by Harvard professors in the seventies. Harvard has been greatly respected internationally for many years.
I would urge as many North Americans as possible to watch this video whether as parents, financial supporters or the general public, because the performance and "culture" (or lack thereof) of Harvard and the other two universities in attendance bodes ill for the future of USA.

I hope students disrupting others from preparing for finals and not preparing their own finals will be forced to take final exams, and fail them if need to, instead of allowing activism as excuse of disrupting finals. My best friend and I attended the same college.Upon graduation our educational paths took us in different directions, with my friend opting for Harvard Law School. As the years progressed, my friend joined a medium size law firm and in time became a senior partner. There were two other Harvard grads in the firm as well. The other day my friend told me that he and the two other Harvard alumni symbolically returned their diplomas. Of more substance, all donor pledges were cancelled, and a decision was taken by the firm not to hire any Harvard graduates until the University takes steps to erase the shame brought to a Harvard degree. Harvard administration, in the name of wokeness destroyed one of the foremost institutions of higher learning. It will be a very long time before the institution will recover its brand, and current Harvard graduates will have to deal with the stigma of a Harvard diploma which in the eyes of many is no longer worth the material it is printed on.

You can see numerous striking parallels with the Red Guards (the student fanatics of the Cultural Revolution, 1966-76) in these Ivy Leaguers. Probably the most important one is the changing of the definition of wrongdoing and crime.
Things formerly thought morally unacceptable and unjustifiable are suddenly definite goods because they are done in the name of the approved cause. This applies not just to their campus activities, but you can see it also in many students' refusal to condemn the atrocities of the first Saturday of October.
_Abuse is good if it's done for the cause_ is the idea, and it is a powerful attractant. It appeals to the ordinarily-suppressed aggressive instincts natural to all people, giving permission to liberate and satisfy them. In the past, whenever people are extended an invitation, explicit or implicit, to abuse others in the name of goodness, a sudden tide of individuals comes out of the woodwork to accept it.

      Yes very well said.
There was a woman from the cultural revolution who explained that all Mao had to do was convince the students that there was an oppressed and an oppressor.
After that it was easy to get them to think that the “oppressors” were their parents and that it was good to turn their own parents in to police.
Here we also have use of Dresden defense which the Nazis tried to use during the Nuremberg trials.
They claimed that deliberately rounding up and slaughtering people was equal to the Allies bombing Dresden.
which, of course it’s not. There is no moral equivalent.

if they're barging into classrooms uninvited, they're trespassing, if they're interrupting classes and refusing to let teachers teach, then that's disorderly conduct, and hate speech, well it's hate speech, pretty self explanatory. Have them arrested if they don't understand their right to protest and to the 1st amendment does not give them permission to ignore other laws, and other people's rights.
