Few Critiques: 1. Shape matters. The more angular a force the more it can turn it's rotational kinetic energy into a linear force on the opponent. You need a shape actually suited to provide big hits, unlike CobaltDragoon which is too round to do it. 2. Heavier = Better. Don't try to balance it like that. Yes, heavier can make you go slightly slower, but in overall force it is completely counteracted by mass having a direct influence on the force. The reason why heavies move less is because they add to the force of friction slowing the beyblade down. But from what we all know about rubber tips, friction is actually GOOD for attack. Long story short, more friction means you can transfer that rotational energy into the opponent better. 3. Spin Speeds are not influenced by weight distribution. The only thing weight distribution will do is determine momentum, which is always better to be higher. On the X-rail, the only thing that influences speed is the gear ratio and spin speeds, neither of which are influenced by weight distribution. In truth, the only thing a high-weight distribution will do is give you more momentum to 'use up' in an X-Dash, meaning you'll have more momentum to work with when getting off (aka higher spin speeds). That's part of why RhinoHorn just dies after a single X-Dash. There was some talk of Inward Weight Distribution increasing initial spin speeds, but that's kinda a farce. Truth is, IWD just makes it EASIER to spin something, and OWD means you have to put more effort into spinning it. They both have a cap though, so if you have a strong enough launch it'll be the same regardless. 4. Bit choice is weird. You don't need more hits, you just need to hit ONCE with maximum force for the premise of this video. Accel, Level, and Rubber Accel are the best so you get as much acceleration on the X-Line as possible for that one big hit. Yeah, conserving stamina is 'better', but when you aim to maximize force it doesn't matter if you win or lose. In terms of Blades, consider SharkEdge, WhaleWave, PhoenixWing, and DranBuster. They all have good weights and shapes, so just see which one hits the hardest I guess. In terms of Bits, Accel, Rubber Accel, and Level. Level conserves stamina while having MAXIMUM X-Dash capabilities, Accel is kinda a baseline, and Rubber Accel is optimal if you manage to launch well enough to get the immediate X-Dash. Try them all out on whatever Blade you decide. As for Ratchet, 7-60 or 7-70 is best, you want max weight for more force, the height you choose depends on what you find makes the blade hit hardest.
Dragoon is also real off balance though, it has more metal on two of its four blades, shifting its weight to one half the body and moving the centre of gravity outside of the bey itself in most combos. Just look at the 4 metal holes in its underside, two are mostly filled in whereas the other two are hollow. Cobalt drake is also the same in this.
Yeahhhh dragoon don't got the best stamina too, which is why a tip like elevate really makes it a viable meta blade. I was never too fond of the dragoon point combo, but alas the allure of left spin has led me here.
I love your videos and science you've been putting behind your builds. It especially helps since I just found out two weeks from today my card shop will be hosting a bey tournament. So far I've locked in Wizard Rod 9-60B and Phoenix Wing 3-60R. Need to figure out if I want to bring a Dragoon or Wolf build. 🤔
I've got a question. I was thinking ... since Unicorn Sting has two different opposite blades, it feels kinda like Deathscyther from Beyblade burst. Can we somehow: 1. Replicate and or make a better version of Deathscyther using Unicorn Sting 2. Make a great counterattack Bey using that blade, a 1-60 or a balanced ratchet, and a bit like Hexa?
I think using a slightly lighter combo would allow the bey to hit the x rail more often as when it hits the orher bey its more likely to knock out to outer ridges. If you're using a heavier bey, you should experiment with a taller ratchet. 5-80 or something might work better?
@@MBBCMonashBeybladeBattlingClub I'm fairly new to the X scene so I'm not too in the know but from a logical standpoint I feel like there is a point of diminishing returns with bey's. You can be atk/Def/stamina oriented but there is a point where the changes make less and less difference. Based on that theory, as you've already provided an optimal blade and bit; a ratchet that focuses on a other area might provide more overall benefit to the bey. I might be completely off though! Also, I didn't say it the first comment but I completely get the aim was to get the most force and it's a great video, my comment was more geared to the battles at the end. I'm going to go through the rest of your stuff as it's a great format. Please keep up the good video content and provide updates if you do test out the different ratchets!
Also I believe when discussing height Vs aerodynamics there are some nuances. I'm no science expert but more mass tends to decrease acceleration. Therefore, if you're running a quick win bey it would be more beneficial to be light however a heavier bey that manages to get running would likely have a stronger X dash if it manages to get on the rail thanks to the additional weight. I haven't done the testing but I believe the taller ratchets are heavier?
Problem with this: Acceleration is not the same as Velocity (Acceleration = change in Velocity). How can you be sure that the moment your Bey leaves the Xtreme Line that it's going at its highest Acceleration and not in a state of deceleration?
Amazing vid brother, i feel like im alone with beyblade, collected them all as a kid had all the stadiums even imported ones from hong kong, i was wondering where do you get your beys from? Once again amazing vidate.

You decided on BevenomGlue (CobaltDragoon 5-70 T [replacing 5-70 with 7-60)?!! That was my partner bey until I evolved it into BevenomStinger (CobaltDragoon 7-60 R)
You have to focus more on mass than acceleration, as acceleration is harder to achieve because of that squared time component. For that reason, you should have used 80 rachets.
Haha thanks for the feedback 🙏 what you said all makes sense. However leaning into the weight side really didn't offer much in terms of entertainment, such as the available blades, also the heaviest beyblade combo in X is genuinely bad. Also 80 ratchets on an attack beyblade aren't the best. It would have been a cool experiment to lean into the weight side I agree, but I am trying to make usable combos with these videos
While it may not get hard hits, I personally use CD 7-70 Glide as it consistently beats WR and SW in a spin finish, but it will barely get a over finish or extreme
Busy with highschool, forgotten the peakness of beyblade. So we never actually played any burst. One of us was a massive mfb fan and inspired us all to get some mfb beys then that evolved into a channel and eventually getting into X.

Yeahhh wouldn't hurt to try actually, my only fear is that 80 would make the bey too tall and just worsen the aerodynamics

In my testing, the level bit has had some of the best speed with x dashes.
Yup! Check our our knife shinobi video to see the power 😏
Probably because the 16 teeth bits have the shortest gear ratios which equal better acceleration since the bey acts like a driven gear
@@itz_bahamut3822 yeah, like accel, it doesn’t skip gears on the Xtreme line like other bits
2:00 TyrannoBeat doesn't have an imbalance
