For those asking, this is not an exposé video, this is a timeline of H3 focusing on Ethan, it showcases both good and bad things about him
Also I brought on the same editors from the last video and I think they've definitely captured a bit more of my style with this video, let me know what you think

That on top of the schools' knee-jerk reaction to teen depression and self-esteem issues resulting in them essentially teaching a bunch of kids that they never have to change and are perfect the way they are instead of giving them tools to adapt and cope with an uncaring world that isn't made to cater to them. Now we have not only people that constantly seek drama for self-validation but are entirely entitled and lack basic life skills that allow them to face and survive in the real world.

Before the diehard fans mass-dislike this, they need to realize that no single e-celeb is this infallible entity. Joon presents unbiased information regarding the highs and lows of youtube careers, that doesn’t mean it’s meant to “destroy” ethan today. And regardless of how bad other e-celebs are (keemstar, trisha) it doesn’t change the fact that Ethan has also done his fair share of chaos.

IMO Ethan is just a normal dude. He’s made normal mistakes and is completely unfiltered which I appreciate. He’s never ruined anyone’s life or career and always took accountability for his mistakes which is all you could ask for. I understand that the teenage boy audience he once had prefers the more edited jump cut and strictly wannabe edgy content so they may not like the unfiltered unedited and wide spread of topics his content offers now. But simply not liking the direction a creator has made is not enough to solicit the type of hate he’s been getting lately. There are creators who have done some vile shit and not only haven’t taken accountability for any of it but refused to grow up and change. I’ve seen Ethan do the contrary so I can’t hate 🤷🏻‍♀️

@@saraha2525 See, you're undermining his guilt by saying "normal mistakes" and that his previous audience was "teenage boys" and "strictly wannabe edgy." Ethan has never taken accountability until he receives backlash. Ethan's switch to Unedited/unfiltered just allowed his audience to see how he reacts in real time, which wasn't exactly the most admirable or funny compared to the actual jokes and planned videos he made in the past. Content creator controversy has spawned this kind of hivemind that says if a celebrity hasn't committed some unquestionable racism, sexual assault, or scam, that they're still an admirable figure and good personality.

It can be an early sign that the TH-camr you love might not be the golden boy/girl you thought they were. What made the interview awkward was when Ethan read a paragraph from a saucy fanfiction, most notably the aftermath. From there I think Sean was uncomfortable for the rest of the time.
I don’t know if Ethan does this on purpose to make the podcast more interesting or if he’s unaware of what he’s doing or what people’s reaction would be to the question but this stuck out in my mind as a awkward moment on the podcast.

This video reminded me why I stopped watching him. I felt myself slipping back into liking him because of the fact that he’s “exposing Trisha” (even though I already didn’t like Trisha). I do think he got super lazy & entitled. I wish he would go back to making his content like he used to, but we already know he won’t because he loves living the high life now & won’t risk losing sponsors.

That's the irony though. He exposed Trisha after the fact of working with her. He used her as a scapegoat from the start. What a great way to divert criticism when you have someone with even worse takes than you sitting exactly to your right. And probably knowing things were going to hit the fan at some point, he was guaranteed to come out of it looking like the "moral" one.

Even if he did go back to his old content, it wouldn't be the same.
We now know the kind of person he actually is.

"I have a psychological condition where I shut down in response to criticism."
Yeah, that condition is called being an immature manchild.
