The '92 Z28 and I'm sure the other 3rd gen actually had a true cold air intake from the factory. I like how you have K&N filters in there. Lights look great!
Great vid. The third prong on the low beam is to deactivate the fog lights when in high beam mode ! Here in California ( federal also ) the light patrol wants it that way !
On my 89 IROC I took those headlight hold down brackets and modified the bottoms to be flat held in place with some flat (washer flat) rare earth magnets, now with those, the top screws and pressure from the bumper cover they don’t move and it’s way easier to swap lights
Well being the third gen owner with black pockets on the lights I know you should always start by laying a nice soft cloth across there because you're going to drop something in the way your jiggling around up there with parts you're taking the chance of scratching the black. Just an observation for those watching and word of advice from an old 3rd Generation veteran
Do you have any videos on how to replace a rusted out T top roof? Any hints etc...can't find any, and I am replacing mine:) Thanks! Good vid..I like the idea for my car!
Where exactly did you order these from. I have sent 2 sets back already they say glass lens , but when I get them every thing is plastic. These look great and they are what I'm looking for. It is great to see someone else keeping these 3rd gens alive.
@@eddiesspeedgarage How much brighter are they compared to stock , trying to decide between the ones you ordered or the HID they offer. Just trying to decide if they are worth the extra money. Thanks again for the info, plus they offer the green to match my car which is great.
what's the brand model of these lights...I bought some crystal clear lights with H4 bulbs from an auction and they were complete garbage...barely lit immediately in front of car
Chad Daley sorry they won’t. But maybe someone produces them for your car I just never checked. Thanks for watching the video. If I find some I may do an install on my sons car. Thanks for the inspiration!
@@eddiesspeedgarage i just installed some projector headlights they came with some H4 light bulbs with blue tint but for some reason I feel like my headlamp and everything else is getting way too hot any ideas why. do you think If switching to LED bulbs will make a difference? Or can it be a ground connector?
Alejandro heat is a byproduct of light. Some bulb types are worse than others. That being said led light don’t require as much power to make light because it powers a diode not a Filament surrounded buy gas. LED is much cooler.
Very nice job man this makes me wish I kept my 87 IROC Z . I purchased new and regret bselling it after 13 years

Thank you .I was interested in the light upgrade but vid showed brackets to headlight support to core support. My cars front clip was disassembled

Great detail video. I want ‘em for my Camaro. I want to do the halo to the key switch for daylight running lights.
Got bless you been trying to find some like this for my sealed beam 89 c3500
What a beatiful car do you have my friend.
Man that looks great 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Clean af
Why do these videos never show the light patterns after installed?

Vicki I’m sorry I do t have a video for the t tops. But stick around that could be in my future!

wraithsrath I actually did a video that I put H4 led bulbs in place of the ones that came with it. Big difference!
Nice job. Very helpful!
So you didnt change any of the actual mainheadlight wiring harness? The extra wiring is just for the halos?
KyleP133 I did have to resin the low beams but the extra wire is for the halos.
How are these holding up after a year? I know you upgraded the bulb to LED, I mean as far as the halos go.
They are still perfect. Granted I don’t do much night driving or driving period. But I have been caught in the rain and they are holding up just fine.

How exactly did you wire it to the ignition did you tap it or how??
Martin G. In the fuse box under the steering wheel there’s a spot that says ignition just plugged it in there.
I'm needing help we with getting mine to come back on wat should I look at?
man really there’s only two connections the power and the ground for rack light test each one to the battery then go from there
Is each order of headlights with just one?
The unknown I ordered them as a set of 4.
Oh that’s where you put your MSD box 📦 on yours.
where did you get those turn signal units?
What was the brand name? I found a pair that look identical on octane lighting and was curious if that them.
They are from octane the link is in the discussion
why did you not hook them up to 12 volt via a switch
i did mine like that and run them at car shows nice work
Eddie Dominguez I could I just didn’t want the switch. Wouldn’t be much work to run a jumper the the battery though!

Where can I buy halo for my 1994 z24 Chevy
I would say your best bet is to google that or try eBay
Will they work on a 4th gen?

Can you send the link to the type of lights you used and where we can find them?
