@@chlooeeeh143a tip is just smoke the various open lines of fire. Smoke off angles where your team could be easily shot at from so they can just focus on one angle
I really think these are great tips I will be using. I just wish you talked more about when to smoke, what sites to enter/hold from as controller, and even what util to use in combo with smokes. I’m a complete controller noob 😅
I’ve been playing Omen for a while and have mostly thrown very selfish smokes and haven’t thought much about the position and placement of them. My teammates were chastising me in my first ever solo w comp game about it, but I couldn’t grasp it in the heat of the moment. Behold, I find this video while researching what they mean and I GET IT. I need to make the edge flush with the wall. That makes so much more sense! Thank you for making this for idiots like me.
Okay but... why smoke? I just started playing this game and I'm still trying to figure out the use case of a smoke. I can't find many situations where the enemy can't just wait it out.
Smokes are important because they can both delay pushes to allow your team to get back on site or make it so that whatever the attackers push now become to dangerous to really try and commit through and to help your team take control of an area by smoking off common peaking points or using your smokes to allow your team to get onto site
The general idea of smokes in my opinion is to take territory so you should blind the enemys line of sight on you and you can take the space that they no longer have los on and going through the smoke is a big risk because now you dont know where the enemies are

There will also be people holding that smoke just in case someone peaks out of it, which pressures the enemy to either use utility to clear the smoke or delay their push and give your team more time

However, these smokes can be great for lurking plays, and clutches, when you need a bit of unpredictability. As it can increase the variability in a round (read - higher risk, higher reward plays, where there is a higher chance of dying instantly, but also a higher chance you kill 3)

worth mentioning that as of right now, I think brim smokes in ipad are inaccurate, so you may see some gaps (maybe other smokes too)
