I appreciate your video. I am going to download all the free assets for this month as I´ve doing for the past 4 months. I think the RPG one I dislike the most, but I guess is probably a good asset to look at the blueprints to see how they developed it.
Thank you for this video, I'm really new to Unreal Engine, and I was wondering How do I go about claiming this to add them to my library? Sorry about the noob question I just don't know :D
i want to make a game that is somewhat a mix of lethal company and overcooked. would you recommend your survival course for general knowledge that can be used to make a game like that?
What a disappointment this month run! I believe the Free For The Month should always have at least one of the assets making the whole thing worthy on its own, they failed big time this time. The first asset is actually not too bad if you want to make a mobile version of a Sniper Elite game _{this style here really made me think about my Sniper Elite 4 run}._ The Interactions one had the potential to be a great asset if only animations on the interactions were implemented. They did give other interactions assets as Free For The Month in the past, which had the same problem and I wanted to implement the animations I could have used one of those already. My feeling about this month is the guy who's responsible of the selection was still with his mind left on holiday, understandable on some point but a kinda disgrace professionally speaking. I had a wish... a Weather System with a Red Dead Redemption II level snow trailing effects, for example. I guess I'll keep on waiting for next month, like I did since the Early Access release of UE5! Anyway, it's ok... I don't want to make this sound like a rant,,, there are many fresh new game devs who will like all these assets and make magics with them so kudos to them and to the Smart Poly's on point video. Cheers everybody.
Man, you complain about free stuff - it is free, you don't have to pay anything and your library grows each month. It is cool that they give anything- why you have any expectations 😏
@@wookaseek Man, there is a huge difference between "complain" and "disappointment" which is the word I used. I believe we all appreciate the Free For The Month feature, it's something I praise Epic doing for us, for the very same reasons you mentioned, but I also believe we all have what I wouldn't call "expectations", because they are not, and as a matter of fact I spoke about "wishes". Every month it's like waiting for Santa Claus on 25th of December at some point. If you tell me you have no "wish" you eagerly wait to find out became true, I'm sorry... I don't believe you. We all turn into kids when we know gifts are coming! 😏 Kidding aside... the most important part of my comment was at the very end, when I basically praised Epic for giving to a wide audience of new Game Devs or aspiring ones a chance to create something, whether they are "learning by doing" or have some further ambition _{I can be put in between them two}_ or are purely enjoying a game development like just a hobby. And speaking of gaming... whatever our motivations are after all we all win!

LETS GOOOOOOO!!! Ill definitely getting into the premium courses once I watch a few more of your vids. Great tutorials!! 10/10
The first asset gives me a lot of king's landing vibes from GOT
gives me csgo/lethal company vibes too in 5v5 games
The second map template looks like a map in cod4
Thanks for this! Except for the C++ one and the RPG (that's personal of course :) these are great!

Great video as normal. 1question about your course can you use it has a single player game. Thanks in advance
yes, it’s designed to work for single player as well

Seriously, the last two months of free content has been mostly garbage. Who the heck is chosing these assets? lol
