The stiffer the mounts, the more vibration will be transferred to the body. lots of others on here have complained about the vibration issues with ' upgraded' after-market mounts. Somewhere i saw someone said the stock mounts are about 65 durometer. Thanks for the vid.
I read there’s a certain specification to torque these mounts in a specific order to reduce the vibration drastically. I did to mine and did help a lot 🤷🏾♂️
I have 2000 honda CRV....Bought 5 motor mounts at Auto Tech. They told me i needed 5 of them. Bought all 5. Go to muffler shop..they installed on my 4 when i told them to install all 5. Idfk i feel like im getting scammed and set up
@@ivanfuentes9072 probably late but the majority of the vibration will be caused by the rear mount. You can leave the two sides alone and run a stock rear and will have little to no vibration
Juanslifestyle that’s probably what’s causing my dash to shake at 80 mph cause I redid my whole front end suspension and just seen my rubber all cracked

3 Mounts: front left, front right and rear center. 86-Honda-CRV-Factory-Workshop-Manual-1997-2001-[RD1-RD2-RD3].pdf pg. 107
There are four mounts for the engine (rear, driver's side, and two lower torque mounts) and a fifth mount for the transmission.
Good job guy proud of you thanks for sharing
those are not meant for stock daily drivers only track etc
My car shakes , when I come to a stop .. head gasket replaced and tune done .. they told me it might be the motor mounts .. what do you think ?
Yes it is the motor mounts. Better late than never
Change your ignition control module, or your coil pack
Change your car... that will fix it.
Brakes and rotors maybe
Video quality was good bro
Tiene cara de latino así que en Español que tan bien se siente el uso diario de esos soportes
Are those mounts for an ek or eg? And they fit with stock brackets?
Good looking on the video!
I plan to do all oe mounts on my auto crv. Got my hasports for my integra and that’s already enuff lol.
Improvising always usually works for me on doing jobs on things I can do!
great video, but did going back to the previous mount fix your problem?
Yes it did, I believe those mounts are to stiff for the engine so I have the stock rear mount on
Only the rear one or you changed all oh them.?

Appreciate it bro
good video thanks!
This helped a lot thanks!
Do you have to jack the engine up to replace the rear mount?
I did just a little so that way there wasnt so much weight on that 17mm bolt when i take it out
Juanslifestyle that’s probably what’s causing my dash to shake at 80 mph cause I redid my whole front end suspension and just seen my rubber all cracked
What order did you change the mounts out when you initially changed all of the mounts?
I did the driver side mount first, then passenger, the rear mount for last
What other brands make mounts for these crv’s?
Thanks this really helps alot
How do remove the driver side motor mount ... I'm trying to change the belt
Remove the two 17 or 14 cm bolts on the side, next to the engine head
Thanks for the vid
no problem i hope my video helped you out in any way
How many mounts bro In total ?

Looks very much like they just copied Hasport mount design.
Good deal I did my timing and water pump valve lash all off TH-cam
