- In this final content regarding the coverage of the main watch auctions held in Geneva, we highlight some of the main lots presented by Christie's, including the Patek Philippe Ref. 2497, a watch that originally belonged to Emperor Haile Selassie.
Christie's also put together a special Rolex themed part of the auction, with no less than 120 timepieces ranging from some reasonable entry prices to naturally other very exceptional models.

I love vintage watches and today I have had the opportunity of watching the auction of the Ethiopian emperor's Patek bia instagram streaming and it has been so great. Paramico was there but i do not know if he has tried to get it. Congrat for that video. Really really interesting

How does one of the rolexes have a quartz inscribed on the dial but also have a mechanical sweep?
Only the energie comes from a battery, and transfered via a small printing plate, the rest is mechanical. Google it ;)

Depends on what type of accent the person speaking has.
It's a french name....so in french language its pronounced like you wrote in the 1st variant.
Everyone else..pronounce it how an english would read it, thus your 2nd variant.
