You hear the startup song for StarCraft and you think, "wow, that sounds cool. I'm here for something more specific though", and you click all the right icons to navigate your way to that campaign select. You Don't know what the icons say, all you know is that they take you to that super cool marine guy next to the weird alien dude and the creepy worm lizard thing. You click on the marine dude and instantly skip the tutorial and the briefing for the first mission. You're here for one thing only. After just a few seconds of loading that may as well be a few decades to an impatient toddler, you hear it. The Terran soundtrack. And your brain doest realize it's all digital sounds but in your tiny toddler brain, what this man right here has created for us and himself-- that's what you hear in your head. Not that admittedly amazing soundtrack Blizzard made. You actually hear it exactly how this legend has made it and here you are, 22 years later, listening to what you imagined in your head as a reality. Wonder how many people will get to see this comment over a year since the last one 😅
Despite Blizzard turning into the horrible cesspool it is today, the kickass factor of the older games' music is undeniable. This one is a major part of my childhood. Thank you Jack for making this awesome cover!
