- We finished off some final details near our old address and headed up to the Sunshine Coast for Hidden Valley at Yandina. Join us as we learn about our new location and continue to improve our van setup!
⭐️ We highly recommend checking out this amazing spot. Definitely one to put on the list not only if you have kids but, if you just like getting away and spending some quiet time in the bush. Plenty of fire pits to choose from now that it’s getting cooler as well!

Yes thats correct! We met Chris and Miriam before we went on the road and when they lived in a house without wheels! We had many stickers printed with them! ☺️

Camp grounds looked nice but parrot enclosures were so depressing :( Loved seeing you cooking and trying the plantains. Always interesting seeing where you are sourcing you food, must be excitimg trying new things along the way.
It’s been great trying local produce along the way, local and Australian is what we prefer when we can! The food just tastes so much better that way and we support the locals. The parrots were very well loved and ate a better diet that we do if I’m honest! Most were rescues and their quality of life has improved 10 fold to what it was ❤️
Mmaattee, I've gotta ask, the painted toenail, what am I missing out on? Otherwise cruising, feeling your way, don't be shy with the drone footage. The camera never gives the full impact on the ground, so don't be shy with the aerial shots. My 2c worth.
We’ve started to use the drone more lately, Chris was still learning the ropes in the beginning but he’s getting good now! I personally won’t fly the thing or we’d have no drone 😂😂
The blue toenail seems to be ever going, he still has it even now! It’s been there since we were in the house which was four months ago... No toenail polish to get it off now you see, caravan life 🤷🏼♀️🤣

It’s massive and to be honest we’re only going to see a small amount between now until we pass over to the NT (restrictions permitting)... I guess we’ll just have to come back and do QLD a second time 🤫😏

Yeah it has been bad timing but in saying that it’s only going to get better as the year goes on! And as for doing it yourself... Doooo itttt! Our biggest regret was that we didn’t sell up sooner 🙌🏻

Not a very nice comment to make when you entered the cabin...”smells like old people.” You do realise that most travellers are middle age to elderly. You May lose a lot of viewers with ageist comments like that. Not nice!
Everyone knows the smell of moth balls. When I was a kid, it was very true with my own grandparents and a fact, not intended as an offensive comment. These days, ‘older’ people are very different and most will see the funny side. If they don’t and choose not to follow us, that’s a shame. Thanks for sharing your feedback and watching our journey! ☺️
