Nice van guys. Re your bbq I would check it out as Webber doesn’t have a flame arrester system which could leave you in a pickle if anything was to happen. When I ask Webber they said they had nothing with that yet. They only way out of all this is to plug the bbq direct to your cylinders…. But that’s a pain…..

Best TH-cam channel around ... was the first caravan TH-cam channel I started watching and even with watching a lot of others on TH-cam, yours's is the one I Iove and look forward to the most. Everyone within the family has their own little quirks and has input into making the channel, So keep doing what you doing as your family show is 10/10 in every regard.

My wife is sitting here asking does our van have that , why not..😂😂 It's so refreshing to see so much confidence in your caravan builder that you don't hesitate to go back to them again for their next van build. Never feel that you need to justify having some of life's creature comforts while on the road after all it is you home. Safe travels. see you on the road somewhere.

Hi Justin & Beck, any reason for no rear camera, you can get a cover for your gas heater outside vent to stop dust. Hears a tip with the SOG make sure you put the canister plug in before travelling as from experience the content can splash up into the fan hose and find its way to the fan and filter its not good. Also noticed a hand full of keys we colour coded our keys with nail polish for quick ID

Thanks for showing the outside of the van, Nice looking van. With everything you have on it I think it's as good as it gets. I would be interested in how you rate the new window design down the track.
    Enjoy!

  • @TheOccasionalNomad

Thinking about the carbon filtered stink remover- great idea. We have a years old wet floor vacuum for cleaning up spills etc and to stop liquid getting sucked into the motor when it’s full, there’s a ping pong ball set into a cup that floats up and blocks the suction. Maybe something similar could be incorporated into your toilet just in case it over fills.
Looking forward to seeing your next vid from the snow!

So different than what I am used to on North American travel trailers. So much more solid, sealed, waste water system, interior layout, incredible suspension compared to solid axle with half assed tires. Keep it up! Likely worth a fortune.

Nice video Justin and thank you for sharing, You always have good content. I think Navigator gear is awesome but the tow hitch cover I was actually disappointed in when it arrived as it doesn't fit properly when you have the handbrake on. Fits perfect when the brake is off, but yeah...always good to have the park brake on when parked up

When you bolt Galv onto painted metal you have dissimilar metal separation issues. Anode and Cathode stuff to consider. That's why Galv trailers cut the musted better than painted.

Definitely a good choice with cruisemaster, our 2009 built van has air suspension and disc brakes fitted. However the air pump was fitted under the van and had dust problems when travelling on unsealed road. The new larger pump is now inside the van. All wheels are interchangeable with our LC200. Have 400ah lithium batteries since 2013. Our vans ATM is 4000kg our total GCM 7800kg.

Excellent, demo, The amount of technology these days , When I built my van 17yrs ago, Battery Systems were quite basic, and very expensive , My solar is all Aussie made, and still working 100%, My batteries 2/ 260 amp/ hr each, lasted 12 yrs , wet cell, 90 kgs each, Now have 2/270 hr AGM. Don't expect them to last 12 yrs, Solar is a total of 500 watts, which works ok for me, and my lifestyle. , I'm not a fan of too many gadgets, But still love your setup, Many happy safe travels, Cheers Bevan from Sapphire Central Queensland 🤠❤️🇦🇺 , P/S Would love that aircon to replace the old Dometic one which still works , The only problem was it lost its gas on first trip, Just a joint, Easy fix.

I have same SOG system on my awning side and there are no smells at all outside, just change the charcoal filter every 12 months. One mod I am in process of doing is to install some sort of inline filter between the cannister and charcoal filter to stop any splashing getting into the lien and to the fan. It might just be a bit of stocking of sponge not sure yet, but I have had liquid get into the hose when tank is very full and road isn't great. I also keep my cannister plugs connected to the tanks using key lanyards so they don't get lost.

I'm with Bec. My head is spinning. It's really fascinating but I am so not a Techie. Mostly, I just care that it works. If it doesn't, I'm screwed.

Hey guys , love the vids been following since the start in the BT... with all the focus on weights these days we would love to see a full run down of the new van and the whole packed rig with individual wheel and axle loads etc. You guys have the ultimate touring set up in a lot of peoples eyes its just hard to believe its legal ?? understanding its licenced for 4495kg.

Just made the big D to have disc brakes put on our van currently in the queue to be built. I was concerned that having disc brakes meant no red Anderson stability controller…. Your confidence in having disc being a good thing certainly makes the wifey and I feel good about that decision…. Are you concerned at all, not having the stability controller? Great vid by the way, as usual…. Your new van looks awesome!

Hi Justin, love your videos with all the great tips that are greatly appreciated.
This latest video on your new van is fantastic that has raised a question that you may be able to help me with concerning how the plumbing is set up on your van to switch between the fresh water tanks.
Currently I have to get under the van to turn the tap off on one tank and on, on the other tank. There has to be a better way.
If you have any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated or it may a subject you could cover in one of your cute videos.
    Cheers Doug
