u god damn right this shit was crazy and if u r on pc some mods can really step up ur experience by a lot and the replayabilty is by far the best off all ac. And its the only ac that actualy reward stealth gameplay(u should watch lore acurate gameplay its kind of a rush stealph gameplay were u constantly moving but never found u ll see how much fun u can have on this masterpiece )
You spoke nothing but facts. This is what the franchise is missing, Assassins Creed used to have a style and strict formula that every game used to abide. I feel that with syndicate they broke all of that. The interesting part is that even After the franchise left Europe and went to America it still HAD THE SAME STYLE, Black Flag is a pirate game yet it still has THE SAME STYLE and that is why people loved it, as soon as Origins was made it was no longer Assassins Creed anymore, great video man.
I think origins was good and really fit into the Assassin's mythos But yes, unity was the last good "true" Assassin's creed game (syndicate being the actual last game that killed the og format)
I totally agree with you! I love Assassin's Creed Unity a more than Assassin's Creed Syndicate a because of the incredible level of detail in Paris, the improved parkour system, and the co-op missions that add a unique multiplayer experience. Unity's graphics and historical accuracy really make it stand out!
I thought the mission to have sex with an old woman in Odyssey was funny. I don't get the hate for the game. It's easy to pick up and play for an hour, and the combat is satisfying. The Atlantis plot made me roll my eyes, but it's a video game, not real life.
I agree, it’s a fun game to play casually 100%, but it was just not a assasins creed experience, they diverged so much from the original plot it became infuriating for a lot of people that are really invested in the franchise.
Odyssey and Valhalla are cash cow, bloated, busy work filler, microtransaction ridden trash trying and failing to replicate the success and care that was put into Origins. Origins did have microtransactions too but outside of it, the world was a tasteful enough size without being too big, there wasn't an insane amount of copy paste filler (yes there still was a little bit but in a normal video game way not the level of overwhelming the later games had), the story was extremely relatable and something interesting, well written, and well connected. The character of Bayek was the best acted and written AC protagonist since Ezio and of course they gave him two amazing DLC's and just moved on even though they could've made him the next AC poster boy like the community wanted but Ubisoft doesn't listen to fans. My main issues with the new games are how bloated they are and all the mythical bullshit. These games used to pride themselves on historical accuracy now we have a Greek spartan riding a lava horse wielding a blade oozing of green toxin or always on fire. I think Origins did all the mythical stuff relatively tastefully in comparison. It had weapons with special perks and stats but was a rare thing and didn't fundamentally change combat too much, and all the mythical places to go and beasts to fight are more brushed off as potentially just Bayek's imagination. I think Origins was the last good AC game in general, but Unity was the last good AC game with that stealth focus and classic feel regarding play space/environmental maneuverability. Mirage did feel good for what it was but I hate that he's connected to bullshit Valhalla and his character is the god Loki reincarnated in canon or something stupid for no reason. I think Mirage gameplay and general story structure wise is a step back to the roots but not close enough. Great video btw sorry just felt like ranting lol
@ Grew up with this franchise. I don’t have the option to not be passionate about it. Watching it whither away due to bad executive decisions and bad direction hurts. Keep up the great content 🫡

It was fun lol, I loved walking through the underworld, but like imagine telling someone 10 years ago we would be traveling the Greek underworld in a assassins creed game, they would go nuts lmao
Absolutely nonsense! Unity is no better than syndicate. The soul reason unity is more well regarded now, is because syndicate included a overhyped side character, evie, and she wasn't the main character, so the game journalists and brubed youtube channels began aggressively attacking Jacob for his crime of being the main protagonist. As a result syndicate feels unapproachable, and ubisoft themselves are very toxic towards Jacob, syndicate and it's fans. Evie js painfully unpopular with syndicate's hardcore fanbase. Jacob is very well regarded by syndicate's major fans. You wouldn't know however, due to the misinformation spread against Jacob, by salty and bias journalists and devs who cant accept that the girl in the game was secondary. Sorry for the rant, but the truth is, unity and syndicate are as good as eachother objectively. Syndicate has a slightly worse stroy, and unity has slightly worse gameplay with more glitches, less features, and a worse variety of map locations. The two games level out as equal. Arno and Jacob are fantastic and underrated main protagonists, and even lyida in ww1 was a fun character. Evie was terrible, and it's true that people are gaslight and guilt tripped into saying shes some great character and Jacob's allegedly a clown, which hes really not if you actually honestly the play the game. Jacob's story was somewhat more straightforward than Arno's, with Jacob's main arc bejng the struggle between being a ruthless gang leader that can overthrow the templars, but also trying to stay true to being an honourable assassin. Meanwhile Arno had a more complex and personal story, which was a bit better I think.
I absolutely loved Unity. It was a beautiful game and you got to play with other people.

Thank you!
I never played this game but watching videos in recent AC's, some of it lost their muchness.

unity is indeed a masterpiece but to me the last masterpiece was ac origins
I played origins and it is 100% still more tied to the AC formula than the games after
The problem with ubisoft is that they wants to turn ever game in assassin's creed.

@raehorn fair point.
You spoke the truth!! i respect you, what about mirage?
I made a video on that recently! Check it out lol

@@raehorn yeah... it's not ''assassin's creed'' but I personally don't mind that much, I think odyssey is a better game than some older titles
