This game was so funny at launch for me. I built a brand new gaming PC right as this game launched, so this was the first game I played on it. The game ran perfectly, the only bug I got was a pitch fork shoveling hay without a person holding it. Then after I finished I went online to see how others enjoyed the game only to see people (understandably) hating on it.
Both unity and rogue are incredibly underrated, the concepts and ideas for both are amazing I love how these games dived more into the templars and how everything wasn't so black and white, much like how AC3 did with haytham.

This game is definitly in the top 5 AC games for me... 2 will always be my favorite, with Syndicate and Black Flag tied for second, Unity 4 and Origins 5!
Bad launch and a shallow story. But besides that, definitely one of the franchises best in terms of gameplay and setting. Best parkour and stealth with a very colorful and alive open world. I never seen such crowded streets in the game and it ran so smoothly. It really felt like a Revolutionary Paris.
Been playing since brotherhood, THIS is the greatest grounded AC game. It was missing a few things like fighting with the hidden blades/fists only, also body shields when you’re being shot at. Other than that Unity is KING 👑
I wouldn’t mind you doing a full playthrough of this and then Syndicate. The two assassin’s creed games from this brief era were actually pretty good. (Definitely play the Jack the Ripper dlc for Syndicate, that one’s so freaking good) The biggest problem I have with Unity is how buggy it can be. I wish the game referenced shay more because well he did kill arnos father 3. It was the start of the safe parkour flags, its not as bad as compared to syndicate obviously. but it is noticeable when you get stuck on a weird part of a building and just cant simply fall off

I will say this forever, AC Unity was the best by far up until the PS4 era and now. Problem was you would've needed to wait a few years to play it (like I did). The story, map and combat were exceptional and well done. I still remember getting from Point A to B throughout the Map just by walking on the roofs.
I first played it a year ago and thought it was actually pretty incredible. I was shocked by how MASSIVE the crowds in the streets could get without cratering the framerate, and the animations are better than anything current gen (now that they've been fixed). Only complaint was that to 100 percent the game solo is almost impossible without cheating, the multiplayer bits feel forced upon solo trolls like me. Also, Elyse is the hottest virtual character that Ubisoft has ever modeled, hands down.
AC Black Flag will always be my no.1 and then the AC2 trilogy. 😊 I've tried playing AC Unity, but the bugs were outrageous, so I watched the cutscenes on TH-cam - loved the story!
I played this game way after it was released, so I never experienced the biggest glitches. And the little bugs that are still in the game sometimes dont even bother me. I used to play this game a lot back then, and never understood why people where saying it was one of the worst AC games. Recently I played the game again and still see that it was one of the best, and also quite historically grounded (for a fantasy franchise of course). It is a perfect follow up to the history of the templars and should actually have been pivitol to the rest of the AC story considering its partially about the historical downfall and 'rise' of the templars which dictates the templars in the future games... thats why I feel like they let the templars go in the RPG instalments
AC:Unity was simply ahead of its time. The stroy is definitely the controversial part as some think its great, others(including me)think it was Mid/OK but everything from the combat and to the parkour is the best in the whole franchise. The game definitely has its quirks and bugs but these only make it more enjoyable (imo)
The parkour works fine, at least it's better than AC3 and AC4's holding the parkour button. it takes some time getting used to the context based parkour and you can make it way better with mods which you can get it for free. Also stealth gameplay peaked in this game, being able to hide behind every walls or objects is such a game changer, started made some of us realize that we haven't had any proper stealth in any of the Assassin's Creed games before this one.
This game was ahead of its time even though it was not a masterpiece when it first came out but playing assassin‘s creed rogue then the next game Unity was a big jump in graphics
Hey Kevduit, could you try out an old little game known as Overlord? It was made in 2007 by Codemasters and it is pretty good! And hey, if you enjoy it, could you also play Overlord 2?

The part is hilarious dude😂😂😂🤣
A part 2 is highly required good sir
The second AC game I've played. I loved it. The world, the detail, feeling, dude the music. I loved the music. One of my favorite entries of the series. It showed what an AC game could be. I wish Ubisoft stil made these kind of games.
For me, it was my first, and Rouge became my third. Fantastic game, honestly, and I'm only disappointed I never played the multi
I'm so lucky I only got to play the game 8 months later after it launched where most of the bugs already ironed out. I still fell below the map 3x throughout my entire gameplay
This game helped rebuild the Notre-Dame after the fire because of how detailed it was!
Love the thumbnail art btw
In my opinion the only flaws in this game i see is
1. You cant start a new game
I had to manually delete the files
2. I wish the game referenced shay more because well he did kill arnos father
3. It was the start of the safe parkour flags, its not as bad as compared to syndicate obviously.
but it is noticeable when you get stuck on a weird part of a building and just cant simply fall off
I actually loved this game.
I played AC Rogue as well. I thought it was cool to see this game begin where Rogue ended. Story was solid.
I subscribed when kev first started making ESO videos and I just came back across his channel and seein him average at least 100k views each video now hits different 😂
When you open the Xbox menu I had moved my controller at the same time so I thought I pressed the button on accident for a second😅
The skulls in the rove where because irl they hadn’t had place to burry the people, that’s why there so many dead body’s in the catacombs today, they just threw the dead buddy’s in there. That just shows the nice attention to detail
I actually love the story of Unity. We had the nuance of Good and Evil Assassins and Good and Evil Templars.
Amazing vid🤞
Man I love this channel
"You've assassined your last creed" xD Have to admit this game is a masterclass compared to the new ones. Love the video thumbnail btw ! Can you share the artist name please ? 🤩
just wanted to say this but the thumbnail art is really good who made it :)
Dude I just finished my 3rd playthrough of the main storyline today. What are the odds!
Thank youuuu, I love this game but to be fair I never played it during release
Dude this is the funniest video you have posted i couldn't stop laughing. Ur videos are the most refreshing and funny 🤣
Pretty sure at the beginning He said "draw swords men" not calling them old men lol.
Do you draw the thumbnails? , I love em
I personally think it is actually really good
the parkour and city levels is so good
they didn't used it again ever
I loved it I still log into my old Xbox and play it time from time.
This game was ahead of its time even though it was not a masterpiece when it first came out but playing assassin‘s creed rogue then the next game Unity was a big jump in graphics
If I don't get to be a black man in a foreign country destroying villages in inaccurate armor using their weapons and techniques, then I don't want it
Hey Kevduit, could you try out an old little game known as Overlord? It was made in 2007 by Codemasters and it is pretty good!
And hey, if you enjoy it, could you also play Overlord 2?
This is the first Assassin's Creed game I ever played.
more fun fact Lady Liberty made in Paris and supposed to be in Egypt :D as a Token
The person who makes these thumbnails is very talented
