I think the coop was the only thing that was bad (when it got fixed it was cool), but for me unity was good, i would think varhalla is the worst one now😂
….they gave everyone the dlc for free remember. Thats how bad it was and I doubt the Ubisoft of today would be able to do that today.

In other words, we have to get rid of game-breaking bugs before releasing the game because we can't coast on our reputation anymore. Blame the players.

@@Flickem5 what? They used AI to make the armors, weapons, and architextures which combined Chinese, Japanese, and Korean architecture, weapons, and armors to make everything. Which is pretty messed up. Then they used a family crest for the game without consent, and Japan as a result got angry about it. Japanese government has stated they will do an investigation once the game comes out, and if it's still disrespecting them, they will take action. So they did it to themselves, considering they had said "historically accurate" which got the attention of the Japanese government to begin with. Oh, and a lot of Japanese people are mad about the youtooz having a one legged torri gate, if you don't know the history of the one legged torri gate, I highly suggest you learn about it

I absolutely love unity, my favorite AC game. Video 153/day 666 of asking Kev to play Bionicle Heroes. (44 videos/192 days since confirmation that he would play it.)
It's crazy just how good Unity is in terms of gameplay, level designs and graphics and that it is that old. ESPECIALLY compared to a LOT of modern day games.
To me this is one of the best ones because the combat was the best in the franchise they built on what 4 had while also allowing you to specialize in specific weaponry and on top of it all a multiplayer that let each assassin take on the mission in their own way my favorite memory of this game was taking on a mission to a big cathedral, heavily guarded, target deep in what was effectively a fortress the other 3 assassins I was teamed up with decided to take it a bit slow and scout out the place
I ran in with a musket beating people over the head on a bright red assassin outfit taking every guard within a mile of the area to fight me while making my way up culminating in getting the target to flee into the waiting arms of my brother assassin's in arms
Still one of my fave moments this game deserves so much more love than it gets
"Worst launch" but not game, has the best parkour in the whole AC and I'll never get tired of saying it

There are still many people including me who often plays Unity. The recent ACUFixes mod changed many things. And co-op is decent. (The best parkour system in an AC game btw.)
Ah simple times when Assassins creed games just had issues with bugs and glitches now we got an entire nation against this franchise lol
This game is a perfect example of people hating a game just to hate a game. The parkour feels better than any other assassins creed game, the story is great, the combat is really fun, the scenery is beautiful, like there's nothing at all to hate.
They shegged this game releasing it on the exact same day as Rouge. They should have only dropped rouge, given unity an extra year to bake in the oven, and I bet it'd have been seen as one of the best in the franchise

This game has the most realistic looking and stylish combat in the series. ( only talking about one armed handed sword though)

This game was so funny at launch for me. I built a brand new gaming PC right as this game launched, so this was the first game I played on it. The game ran perfectly, the only bug I got was a pitch fork shoveling hay without a person holding it. Then after I finished I went online to see how others enjoyed the game only to see people (understandably) hating on it.

The second AC game I've played. I loved it. The world, the detail, feeling, dude the music. I loved the music. One of my favorite entries of the series. It showed what an AC game could be. I wish Ubisoft stil made these kind of games.
Looking back, I am surprised the templars weren't Arabic in this game.
Somehow Ubisoft got worse.
Unity was one of my favs with its crowds and the ability to coop. If only they stuck with it for the newer games

AC Black Flag will always be my no.1 and then the AC2 trilogy. 😊 I've tried playing AC Unity, but the bugs were outrageous, so I watched the cutscenes on TH-cam - loved the story!

This is the first assassin's Creed game that I actually finished. Luckily I waited a year after release to purchase (which gave them ample time to fix the game)
As much as I loved Unity I had the pleasure of playing it after the fact that it was fixed. Imo it wasn't a bad game by any means, but it's release state def served as a glimpse into what was to come in the future.
