So happy you had friends around for the Holiday. I am seventy and found myself alone this year for the Holiday. I just kept reminding myself that usually I have family around, but due to work opportunity this year I did not. I let myself feel the aloneness as a reminder to me how some people are always alone. So I don't forget to have compassion for the isolated people on our planet. I started thinking of ways to work to help others who are alone. Maybe something will come of it in 2025. I sure do enjoy your videos and God bless you both.

Sounds like Quartsite Thanksgiving was delicious…I made a full T dinner turkey dressing gravy etc in our fifth wheel for just me and hubby…it was nice and peaceful…we enjoy it that way…

I was thinking about how you have to spell park in front of Lefty I have to spell cow when we leave the house because my dog likes to look for them and I give him a treat when he finds them he knows to look in fields and he knows where the farms are before we get to them😂

Anyone who would have started that discussion, was apparently either not invited, or threatened to not do it.
I've heard of the garbage plate and yes, the name is owned by Nick Tahou Hots in Rochester. Similar in character to Cincinnati 5-way Chili, and designed to be eaten by drunks after the bars close. How can you not like such a dish? Macaroni salad does seem to be a big difference; Cincinnati chili has spaghetti on it.
