They shoulda done it at after the 2020 playoffs at the latest like Dom said in the video, they probably woulda been a solid contender team by now had they done it. Front office was just complacent/lazy I guess.
They should trade for Mikal. Offer to trade everyone but Siakim and Barnes. Mikal, Scottie and Siakim would be a dangerous 3. And Brooklyn gets some good pieces in OG, Gary Trent, Boucher, etc.
Yeah I think they drunk the koolaid about the President being a Genius and don't realize that maybe they are living off that one year way too much. He literally said he was gonna get one or two firsts and rotation players for Dragic. While everyone with one ounce of sense knew that he was a buy out player. But he waited and waited for those picks to come before finally buying him out at the end.
I think the issue is the GM is too attached to his players because he is completely unwilling to trade any of the ones that you would get a lot of value for.
I said after the Bulls collaspe in the Playoffs against the Bucks in 2022 that it was time to throw it all away but no people laughed me out the paint and threw pasta sauce at my shoes. We're just stuck in basketball purgatory and have honestly been here since Jimmy was traded. Man that little run in the 2021-22 season when we were actually number 1 for a while was a taste of greatness I can't wait to get back. They just need to blow it all up.
Posted this about MIA in a reply and figured I’d share it, if it’s trash lmk but ideally you are somewhat unbiased and not just a fan of one of these teams saying you need 9999 picks. Someone suggested DeMar for MIA and I just started typing lol, that’s the context. I know it’s long, doubt many will read it but whatever. If they’re gonna get a “one way” player it’s gotta be someone who can pass, and then light it up scoring from all 3 levels. I think Herro is a good player, but he’s not good enough for what they need for his lack of defense. Idk who that’d be, you could argue for two good players over one really good player especially since there’s clearly no star available. Could they somehow replace Herro (and picks etc) for like IQ & Jerami Grant? IQ/Richardson/Haywood/Martin/Jasquez/Jimmy/JG/Love/Jovic/Bam/Robinson then Lowry and Duncan…it’s still very flawed but it’d be a hell of a lot better. I don’t think it’d take much asset wise to get Grant, and honestly NYK truly can’t afford IQ longterm if they want to keep Brunson, Hart, Grimes, RJ, Randle, Mitch and anything resembling a team around them after 25-26 when Brunson will get a BAG, Grimes ext comes due, and IQ’s $ would’ve kicked in the year prior. So if you’re NYK, I think once you don’t get a deal done…you just have to get what you can for him now bc I don’t think his value will be any higher once he gets extended this summer. They’d also have to wait until the deadline, just not ideal. So they should probably get some more ammo to make that inevitable star acquisition. MIA probably needs to give up Herro to a 3rd team for a pick and an expiring, maybe some 2nds idk. There seemed to be a few teams that were willing to toss a pick for Herro during the Dame thing. Then give up probably like a pick and a swap of their own? Getting an expiring and even a meh 1st for Jerami on that deal seems like a win. And with Quickley needing to be paid this summer, likely wanting somewhere in the low to mid 20s, you can’t expect a ton for him. An unprotected (or VERY lightly protected, like T3) MIA 1st way out in the future and an unprotected MIA swap seems like a solid return. ‘28 1st and ‘29 swap, that has a lot of upside. Or maybe they amend that protection on the OKC FRP to ‘25 unprotected and they send ‘27 1st and ‘28 swap. That way they’d still be able to move their ‘30 1st this yr if another move became possible. I doubt it, but it’s possible. As NYK that’s a super high upside pick, and the swap makes your own pick that year way more valuable since they could trade the best of theirs and MIA’s to someone. Those best of picks always great since you have two bites at the apple for someone to be bad that yr. Like I said they truly just can’t afford another 20+/y deal going forward, especially when they already have Brunson, Hart got paid, and between Hart/Grimes/DDV you’d be paying IQ a lot to be a backup PG and play a few mins at 2. Just an idea. If in 24-25 they’re paying IQ like 20, and JG 29.7, (can just say 50 to make it easy) that’s around what Dame was gonna be making anyway, and Herro/Lowry would be off the books which adds up to 58-59M. That’d be paying IQ around 4/85-88, something in that ballpark, which seems very reasonable. IQ seems like a good fit. Yes he’s like 6’3, but he’s got a long wingspan, and he defends. He can also do what they need him to do on offense especially with Jimmy and Bam adding some playmaking. Then Grant is a bit overpaid but that’s why you’re getting him for not much. And it’s rly the last 1-2y of the deal that are worrisome, who cares about that, they need to win now while Jimmy is still rly good. He fits well as that 3&D 4 they’ve been missing, and can occasionally create his own shot if needed. I kinda just thought of this off top, I’m not a NYK/MIA/POR fan so I’m trying to be unbiased. I’m sure NYK doesn’t love losing Quickley, but it’s just reality. Maybe McBride can step up for those backup PG mins for now. Lmk if I’m crazy!
It’s sad to see how the bulls lacked, demar has been a dawg when they needed him but it’s just felt like somethings missing, lonzo had all the potential to be that piece and it just sucks to see how they’ve struggled without him in the lineup.
The Heat should 100% make an offer on DeRozan. They probably won't have to give up a ton and he'll help the issues they've been trying to address in the off season.
Fuck no. The offense for the Heat is gonna be god awful. Jimmy and Derozan have similar games. Mid range + paint focused with little to no 3s. Bam the same way. 3 dudes that shoot almost no 3s? 😂

I feel like the Pelicans might already need to be on this list. In the years Zion has been in the league, he's great when he plays, he just doesn't play. Ingram is good, but can't carry the team far by himself. And they've been in a grey area of being very good for a couple years but then accomplishing absolutely nothing.
Zion has only played what two(?) more games in a four year span than Greg Oden. It's a big concern for sure this dude hasn't been taking it seriously at all, this is what would've happened to Barkley if he didn't have Moses Malone mentoring him.
The Lakers? I mean they’re just gonna try to win the next cpl years w LeBron, then they have some decent youngish talent like AR, Christie, Vando, JHS, Lewis, etc. and they’ll have all of their own picks beside that ‘27 UTA one bc the NOP pick will convey this year or next. Then they can decide whether to build around AD, or get assets for him and go younger. Pretty clear path. I doubt they win one, but they can make some runs for sure. Not sure what else you do. GSW is in a similar boat. Honestly CP looks pretty good, steady presence to run the second unit, and I think Moody will be a good role player. We’ll see how Draymond fits back in, CP3 should only be playing like 25mpg and 65g or whatever anyway. Curry, Klay, Wiggins, Dray, Looney, CP3, GPII, Podz, Moody, Kuminga, then Coryjo/Saric/Trayce. They still have picks to move if they want. So they’re in win now mode until the wheels fall off, they’ll prolly give Klay another 2-3y after this year and then their core will be signed through 25-26 at least. TBD after that, but when you have Curry still balling you gotta still go for it.
The Sixers are legit under Nurse and with the Embiid-Maxey combo. Hopefully the return from the Harden trade is enough to take them over the top. It's hard to predict their future until we see what they get for him.
As a Toronto fan I agree with this take, should’ve blown it up when we sent Lowry to Miami. Keep Barnes and draft more players. No star wants to live in Canada in free agency so we can only draft or trade a team.
Heat and Mavs could also be added to this list maybe even Pelicans or Clipers if they can't put up a healthy season. There are just so many good teams that are not contenders in the leauge it's crazy.
Idk man, but I feel like there’s a bit too many of these ‘mid-table’ teams that are reactive, instead of proactive. Look at past champions. Majority of them were being proactive with their key squad additions
Embiid seems different. He loves playing with Maxey and seems locked in on staying in Philly. I think he stays his whole career unless the Sixers decide to rebuild.

The clippers should be on this list as well. How many more seasons of injuries and disappointments will they have with this core before moving on? The franchise is cursed, so I doubt the next group they bring in will do much better, but this core is done.
Clippers, if they don't stay healthy and get at least to conference finals, Warriors, I think Draymond and Klay are both past their times and they have to make some big moves to stay a contender. Also, new GM has to be itching to earn his pay and make the team his.
I think I can speak for all Toronto fans when I say we should’ve committed to a rebuild and started moving pieces as soon as Kawhi left. We don’t get stars in free agency and we didn’t have enough to trade for a new one without giving up too much of the roster to actually compete. We had the perfect opportunity last season to trade OG for Shaedon Sharpe who would’ve been really great alongside Scottie as a core duo to work with (I honestly think he has higher potential than Scottie) but our best chance now would probably be shopping for Josh Giddey. Both Siakam and OG are heading for free agency and both are somewhat disgruntled players who are extremely valuable to most teams in the league. I’d be shocked if we kept even one after Masai’s comments about Siakam at the start of the season, never mind both. We desperately need to rebuild to stand any chance of competing again but our front office refuses to just commit. Letting Vanvleet walk in free agency when the fans were all saying to trade him at the deadline was already pretty bad, if it happens with even just one of Siakam or OG, I can’t imagine the front office’s jobs will be very secure. It’s time to move on.
The Clippers should be on the list. There top 2 players have been injured last 2 seasons and they're getting paid big bucks but have yet to at least get to Finals
76ers are in trouble. Harden won't hang around and I feel that it'll rustle Embiid's feathers. I wouldn't be surprised if he demands a trade in a year or two.
Did you say "Tre Young can clearly be the star offensive player" You're talking about the dude who shot 33% from three last year? Or the dude who is shooting 20% from three and FG this starting two games? Who is this magical great offensive player you speak of?
I mean all these teams could trade with each other and one team or two could be legitimate contenders and the others would be in a position to rebuild correctly but I think the problem is there front offices seem incapable of making the right moves or launching a full rebuild cause. Bulls fan here. Yeah Demar is gonna be traded. I love him but the bulls timeline is not what his is and we all know it. Vuc probably will be packaged with him. I doubt Lavine will be traded since he’s the face of the franchise currently and they are committed to “not rebuilding” whiiiiich seems to be the biggest problem with every franchise you mentioned. None of them seem to wanna go that route.
He’s out for this season 100%. Past that I guess it’ll just depend on how the next year or so goes for him in terms of rehabbing, healing or whatever else he needs. It seems like some really lower body stuff, ppl aren’t sure if he’ll be able to play at an NBA level again. It’ll be at least like 10+ months til we find out probably, so we’ll see.
Idk why 76er cant gind a 3 tram deal to get a player they feel can shoot and defend but i think there a better move, accept a deal with clippers for, i think they havr normand powel... and some picks if not first round, a few second round. Flip for a second or third year at most that you scouted who has some length, can defend and can shoot. Develop him over a year or two and try to let maxey develop and find more wings and forwards either draft or free agency who can defend paremeter and can hit a jump shot or two, find a better gm and coach
I think the 76ers are the most screwed team on this list. If James Harden is traded in this manner, then Joel Embiid is going to grow more and more frustrated, and he might demand a trade. And if Joel Embiid is traded, the 76ers might as well just blow up the roster and embrace a rebuild. I know the season just started, but I don't see them being all that successful in the playoffs again with this much tension around the organization.
Miami and the Knicks should be here, especially NY. They're just like the Bulls, too talented to tank but not good enough to contend with the stars (but not superstars) they have locked up
@@demonreacts7816lmao i think its obvious that a healthy Clippers team runs any team not Devnver out of the gym in the postseason. We will just never see this scenario because Kawhi and PG are generational at finding ways to be injured in April.
@@UnBR0k3enAngel again, even if healthy, they always find a way to mess things up. They have the “deepest” in the league in terms of wings, but these two have never showed me how to beat a team without struggling. I’ve seen em countless times be in the cusp of elimination by teams like Dallas, and they only had Luka at the time. The only time they were able to find a rhythm was when Pandemic P carried em to the WCF one year, but even then, look where Kawhi was.
Trae young is poison for every nba team, sick of hearing how he’s an all star point guard when he is incapable of defending and the offense everyone speaks of is on Marcus Smart efficiency. He is just bad
Who? The ECF Champs...they literally just : 1. Went through Bucks and C's 2. Upgraded the roster around Jimmy, Bam and Tyler (Strus and Gabe are bench players that started due to injuries..they have been replaced).
The Bulls , it jst feels like that fanbase is still to strong for what have been for a long time. Do not get me wrong Ball was not fair but Zack is just not as good as people thought he would. I get the Raptors just what feels like trying to hang on to the finals and make seem like they are still in the window , coming from a Bucks fan I know what it is like for no one to talk about your team for years at a time.
76ers are better without Harden, Embiid, Maxey, Harris, and Kelly Obra is playing great basketball,no need to do anything now that Harden is gone to destroy the Clippers
I will not be surprised at all if DeRozan goes to the Lakers by the trade deadline. Seems like a very Lakers move and DeRozan obviously wants to play in LA.
@@demonreacts7816 I didn’t say it was a good move but it is the kinda move the Lakers would make unless OG and Siakim become available and even then I’m unsure if the one 1st round pick of the Lakers will be enough to get a deal like that done

The fit would be awful
@@nothanks5264 It would still be better than what they have now.
Already knew Philly was gonna be on here, gotta restart the process
starts w trading embiid

Congrats on 400K Subscribers 👏👏👏
Coming from a Raptors fan, based on the way Siakam played last night it's absolutely baffling that he's getting paid $37 mill
Pascal was the second option on a title team. That’s the going rate. You could argue he’s underpaid. A lot of 2nd guys make 50 million
I feel like the Pelicans might already need to be on this list. In the years Zion has been in the league, he's great when he plays, he just doesn't play. Ingram is good, but can't carry the team far by himself. And they've been in a grey area of being very good for a couple years but then accomplishing absolutely nothing.
Bruh what
Zion has only played what two(?) more games in a four year span than Greg Oden. It's a big concern for sure this dude hasn't been taking it seriously at all, this is what would've happened to Barkley if he didn't have Moses Malone mentoring him.
At least he’s saving them a ton of money by not hitting 65 games played. 😂
Give them a year or two then the convos can start
Yeah the Pelicans are a mediocre team. Mediocrity doesn't win titles
Crazy you just got 400k I swear ive been a fan for almost a decade
Shows how little you've done to promote the channel.
@@darrengordon-hill You know I don't do no popping for promotion
Didn't expect to see my raptors in this but I appreciate. I agree with it.
As a Bulls fan I agree they need to do a major overhaul with this team
I really think the Lakers and the Warriors should be on here.
As much as I love Lebron? You're probably right
The Sixers are legit under Nurse and with the Embiid-Maxey combo.
Bro ain’t no way you only got 400k .. yo videos are 🔥 & interesting asf feel like a min movie type shit
What I've noticed about most teams is that they're relying on 1 player instead of building an actual TEAM, an actual Identity.
Keep it up sir!
Heat and Mavs could also be added to this list maybe even Pelicans or Clipers if they can't put up a healthy season. There are just so many good teams that are not contenders in the leauge it's crazy.
Demar playing with the heat with Jimmy, that will be nice.
Jimmy doesn’t have to carry the scoring.
Heat need spacing Demar does not shoot 3's like that.
I fully disagree with the hawks .. half the roster is still under the 25 range .. still extremely young
True but they don’t seem like they have another chance for a 2021 type of run
400k!!
I think the Mavericks should definitely be here
Idk man, but I feel like there’s a bit too many of these ‘mid-table’ teams that are reactive, instead of proactive.

Idk if you just hit 400k but congrats on the achievement!
Bro the Bulls really took a Player Meeting 1 game into the season
As a Chicago native,Chicago needed Zach Lavine to develop to a jimmy butler kind of player…oh wait.
My Bulls will be fine once Lonzo Ball returns 😃😃😃

Clippers, if they don't stay healthy and get at least to conference finals, Warriors, I think Draymond and Klay are both past their times and they have to make some big moves to stay a contender. Also, new GM has to be itching to earn his pay and make the team his.
Plus my clippers. I honestly thought we were in this list.
So no more 2k vids
You know for a raps fan I’m very happy deebo who is still my fav player is still as good as he once was
I think I can speak for all Toronto fans when I say we should’ve committed to a rebuild and started moving pieces as soon as Kawhi left.
Guessed 4 out of 5 teams correctly. Great basketball minds think alike
Dude I never thought of it till now imagine if Joel goes to NY that’s a team fr
The knicks would have to give up everything ti get him. Second round exit
Maybe some three team trade for pics and Randle 🤷🏻♂️ mainly a hypothetical
Siakam and OG now gone from the Raptors and Minnesota been playing great basketball so far
Harden for markkenen?
Mavericks
So is Lonzo just not ever going to play? Like what is the injury?
He’s out for this season 100%. Past that I guess it’ll just depend on how the next year or so goes for him in terms of rehabbing, healing or whatever else he needs. It seems like some really lower body stuff, ppl aren’t sure if he’ll be able to play at an NBA level again. It’ll be at least like 10+ months til we find out probably, so we’ll see.
Bulls gave LaVine 215mil BAG and he cant even defend guys on bench! That was money well spend. 🤣
They're just like the Bulls, too talented to tank but not good enough to contend with the stars (but not superstars) they have locked up
zach lavine really scored half the teams points tonight
and still got blown out
they need to move on
Knicks with Randle
Harden to utah
Philly gets sexton, tht
jazz would have harden, clarkson, markkanen, collins, kessler, olynyk & keonte 🔥
The Pelicans & Clippers belong in this list
I miss the gta intro
I think the clippers need to be on the list
The Clippers imo are already done. They can’t stay healthy, even if they’re, they always lose.
They aren't because it's already a foregone conclusion they're done.
@demonreacts7816 I forgot about that series. They WERE healthy and Luka almost solo'd.
Lakers -GS -clippers ….. clock has struck 12
Warriors already have won titles recently
Trae young is poison for every nba team, sick of hearing how he’s an all star point guard when he is incapable of defending and the offense everyone speaks of is on Marcus Smart efficiency. He is just bad
Harden just got traded lol
Do you hold any weight in Minnesota going six games with the eventual champs or are those Minnesota fans delusional
Miami Heat are also a candidate…
Who? The ECF Champs...they literally just :
1. Went through Bucks and C's
2. Upgraded the roster around Jimmy, Bam and Tyler (Strus and Gabe are bench players that started due to injuries..they have been replaced).

I’m here!
James got traded
The Bulls , it jst feels like that fanbase is still to strong for what have been for a long time. Do not get me wrong Ball was not fair but Zack is just not as good as people thought he would. I get the Raptors just what feels like trying to hang on to the finals and make seem like they are still in the window , coming from a Bucks fan I know what it is like for no one to talk about your team for years at a time.
Harden for derozen. Who says no?
76ers are better without Harden, Embiid, Maxey, Harris, and Kelly Obra is playing great basketball,no need to do anything now that Harden is gone to destroy the Clippers
Long ahh intro
If maxey delevops into a star, harden could’ve had a big 3. I thought 76ers had a chance to be really good they took my Celtics to 7 games
Idk why i just feel like the timberwolves are a good squad, wouldn't be suprised if theyre a top 6 seed this year
On paper they should be good. They just play really dumb basketball for some reason
I will not be surprised at all if DeRozan goes to the Lakers by the trade deadline. Seems like a very Lakers move and DeRozan obviously wants to play in LA.
I don’t think it’s a good idea for us (the Lakers). DeRozan is already up there in age, plus I think it’ll destroy our defense
No. DeRozan costs too much to get here and he is who he is and that's not a great fit for our roster.
@@demonreacts7816 I didn’t say it was a good move but it is the kinda move the Lakers would make unless OG and Siakim become available and even then I’m unsure if the one 1st round pick of the Lakers will be enough to get a deal like that done
DEROZEN PULL UP 2’s MAKE ME SICK
Harden for derozen?
