The Daiwa Aphalas Air is such a beautiful baitcaster.

If you like using heavier flies for BFS you need to check out spawn fly fishing football beads. They are football shaped beads for fly fishing but they are heavy enough to be used on a BFS or spinning rod.

I got some heavy slotted Tungsten beads for sure. Weighing up to almost 2 grams woot woot

I prefer the cheb over bullet weights for adding weight to various hooks and rigs. Particularly for Texas rigged TRDs.

starting to like em as well! I haven't T-Rigged with a cone weight for so long!

I fish with a fly rod but I certainly think that this style of fishing looks like a blast.

I do too! I prefer this style of fishing. All my fly stuff been put aside! Maybe I should get my fly stuff out once in a while... But this is too addictive

I do most of the time. I did mention it briefly here on the video, but it gets repetitive lol. What would you like to know? I will drop the details to ya later;) thx for watching

Why have Not realised I can put a cheb on a trout fly.... D'oh! In regards to chebs, never had any issues with the weight going up the line even on 3lb Fluoro. But saying that most of the small ones I use in the 0.75g >3g range the clip is pretty tight on the ball. I need to try a trout fly for my local wasps! (small European Perch)

@@rawrfishing Since watching this I've been running this rig a lot using tiny soft plastics instead of flies as the hook eye is bigger so the lure moves a lot more. Multi species carnage! It's brilliant!!!
